One of them had an internal short between ground and the hot wire, I do Electrical luckily and was able to fix it, lights are really bright

We installed and then had to uninstall these lights

Very poor construction, it takes a lot of wiring and electrical knowledge to get these in. I’ve used others that are direct plug n play. The wires inside are not even close to being long enough and if you plan to connect together, good luck. You will be frustrated to every degree. After doing all that, only my first one in sequence is powering up. The rest are not. Please consider other alternatives.

I'm using these in a basement shop. The installation wasn't too bad... since they're hung by thin wires it's a little challenging to get them straight and level, but it's not awful.They're very bright and provide plenty of light for my space. You can also set the color temperature from cool to warm white depending on your preference.I also like the design and style - very modern!

I used square security lights for my "growing" stations because they had the power and brightness I needed for growing young seedling plants. I used mylar to as a backing around the plants to help reflect the light back towards the seedlings. The only drawback was the light itself was square in shape so the largest plants were directly under the light while the plants at the ends of the 4 foot long bed grew but not as strong as the plants directly under the light. Then I came across these 4 ft. LED lights that were just as strong ratings wise as the square lights, only these lights were stretched out in a straight line measuring 4 feet. So I switched out all the square shaped LEDs and used the 4 foot LEDs lights in their place. Now all the plants seem to be growing more evenly. I really like the fact these lights come set up to be used individually or simple hook them up together one after another in a series. Plus as an added bonus, these lights are modern looking and pleasant to the sight. I am very satisfied with these......my new grow lights.

I'm kind of disappointed with these lights. Not because they aren't bright enough, or finished well enough... they look very nice and well-engineered and assembled. But I missed the line in the description where it states you have to provide your own power cable and wire the light up yourself. I want to use these in my shop for supplementary lighting, and I won't be linking them. (although that is a very cool feature) The instructions are virtually useless and it took me forever just to figure out how to open them up. It won't be that difficult to wire them, they have a nice plug with push-in slots, but for each light I'll have to get cable, plug ends (unless you hard-wire them), and wire them all in individually. I was hoping to just get these up and plug 'em in. When I went back to the web description, I finally noticed the line in one of the photos that states 'electrical cord not included'. It was way down on the page after many photos of the lights and not very prominent. You'd think they would make this statement in the actual description of the item rather than a footnote in the photos. They do seem like nice looking lights and when I can finally assemble all the parts I'll now need I'll update this review about how they perform. But I honestly don't think I've ever ordered a lighting fixture before that required you to go out and obtain your own electrical cord and plug.
