This is an excellent microwave so far. Easy to install. It does weigh 60 pounds so 2 people to install is recommended

Unit totally quit functioning at 5 weeks. Touch pad, light, everything. Seems this is not uncommon. Customer service is easy to contact, and they set up a repair service to come out to attempt a repair within 5 days. The service contractor called the day before they were to arrive to inform me that the replacement part (complete door assembly) was on back order and wouldn't be available for several weeks. Service contractor recommended calling Samsung back and start the process to replace the unit. This is the point where Samsung has refused to expedite any corrective action. I've have spoken to at least 7 different Samsung representatives, up to "management" and none have the authority to expedite the resolution to a defective product outside some written protocol. Expediting the replacement of the unit would be more cost effective for Samsung and would reduce the inconvenience of the customer. Nonetheless, the outcome is to wait another month on backorder parts at the the customs inconvenience.

Microwave works great however the product came with a couple of dents from shippimg

The microwave works perfectly. Air suction it is great, light is great. Build quality is good. ease of use, looks great. Heat level is good. Decent noise level.

If you want a microwave where the hood fan and light comes on full blast even when no one is cooking and everything in its vicinity is room temperature, without anyone touching it, then this is the microwave for you.It has convincenced me to never buy a Samsung appliance again. If I could give it less than one star, I would.

Love this microwave

The controls on the door for the sake of the design hampers its functionality. Moreover, one is apt to hit the buttons while opening the door, namely the fan button, which you have to toggle three times to shut off. To compensate for less area, many of the control command features are buried in submenus, so making then even less usable. Frankly, i generally use the 30 second toggle button 90% percent of the time, so not really a problem for me. The cooking compartment is only just adequately large, to be expected from a low profile unit, i would say; but big enough for a covered casserole pot. The fan is really annoyingly loud. Like the Samsung its replacing, that died after around 4-5 years. I suspect this one will have that kind of lifespan. It re-heats food and helps to defrost quicker alright, which is what i have the thing for. I have all-Samsung major kitchen appliances, and i am frankly underwhelmed. Love my LG W/D though. Mostly, though, allows more space over the gas burners below, which I think is much safer, than the standard depth ones.

This is not a review of the microwave itself, rather it's a review of the lack of care and professionalism of the delivery company. We ordered this item twice and both times it came severely damaged and dented. Had to end up going to a local Best Buy and ask them to open the box to make sure it was fine. Ended up paying more too. Taking one star off because the control panel is not visible if there isn't enough light in the kitchen.
