We are at the start of a room conversion for creating a guest bedroom where an unused "catch-all" room was. We will be using this queen bed frame for a queen size memory foam mattress with a piece of plywood underneath the mattress to make sure it doesn't squeeze through any slats.The assembly is super easy! They've included a quick video of how to assemble, and it almost goes together exactly like the video. It took my husband approximately 30ish minutes to assemble. He did opt for his own tools instead of the included tools (hex, wrench) because his had a better hand grip size. The only hiccup was one of the screw heads wasn't made correctly, but not too big an issue. I took pics of the tool package after husband started assembly-all parts were there.The frame is sturdy from all sides. We tried wiggling it from the sides, then from the top and bottom. There was no wiggle or "give" to the assembled frame. The paint is black and it appears to be a powder coat spray finish-which will be durable, resistant to chipping, and last a long time. This bed frame is somewhat lightweight (50lb marked box), which is good for the single individual who needs to move it themselves, but it's super sturdy despite not being very heavy. We haven't put the night light on yet, but it's as well made as the bed frame, and a nice touch.Overall, we are SUPER pleased with this purchase and think it's an excellent value!*Please view pictures and any video as I consider them part of my full review.

At $70 you're getting a great deal on this bed frame. It is sturdy and says it is rated for 3,000 pounds and is squeak proof. So far I've not had any issues with a combined total of 500 lb. I appreciate the motion activated light on the floor so I don't stub my toes in the dark. I sort of miss a headboard but I know they do sell stick on adhesive headboards so I may look into that. I recommend this item.

This bed is fantastic. My daughter jumped on her wood bed and broke it. Twice. I ordered this as the replacement, since it reads that she won't be able to destroy it even if she jumps. She's 10 and wanted to put it together herself...and SHE DID! I double checked and she was able to follow all the steps, just needed a lil tightening in some areas. The 18" clearance is so good...her storage possibilites are fantastic with that much room. And the light is a nice lil bonus. It magnets on wherever you want, but you'll need your own batteries. I love that she can move it around and it's motion activated. Her bed is sturdy, she's sleeping better, and if she jumps...no snapping! Easy to assemble, and super solid. This one was a no-brainer.

The Qimamo 18 inch queen bed frame is 18 inches high. The frame is almost 2 inches thick this leaves 16 inches for my storage boxes to slide under the bed. My storage boxes fit perfectly under this bed frame. They were just slightly too tall for the old bed frame that was replaced. The bed frame is designed so that most of the parts hinge open, eliminating many bolts and construction pieces. This feature makes it very quick to assemble. Once assembled and all bolts are tight, it is very strong and does not squeak or rattle. I thought the night light feature would just be a novelty but it is actually useful when you get up in the middle of the night. This is a very sturdy and very easy to assemble queen size bed frame that is true to size and fits my mattress perfectly.

When together with no issues. if you have never done one before then it's just a bunch of parts but it's pretty intuitive. Took about 30 minutes and once together we threw on the rest of the bed components and have been using it in the spare room. We've had a few visitors and no issues so far.

This is a very sturdy bed frame that is easy to assemble, tall enough to store medium-sized plastic totes underneath, and has a cool light feature that adds ambience in the dark. It does not squeak or creak. If you have a traditional spring mattress, you will not need a box spring. I have a memory foam mattress and opted for a low-profile bunkie board to prevent the mattress from squeezing itself between the metal slats over time, but plywood will do the trick as well.

Putting it together was moderately easy. It was like the video they show you in the listing, but slower.As bed frames go, this one is a bit tall, giving you space to store stuff under the bed, and its quiet, no squeaking metal sound when you move around in bed.The light up feature is really cool and useful for those late night bathroom trips. it makes it so I don't have to turn on the lights in the room and wake someone else up. Its a feature I didn't know I needed, but now that I have it, I've become accustomed to itI like my new bedframe and I recommend it
