This product meets a very rigorous standard for lubricity at extreme working loads, at temperature, rated for continuous duty cycle. What you are using is not. this stuff is better. That is why it costs so much. I use this product in a portable 4500psi reciprocating compressor. Oil is still the same color as when new, after 20hrs of usage. Worth every penny.

Using this in rolair wheelbarrow air compressors, they get run around 400 hours before returning for service. This oil goes from clear to amber in that time frame, much less thermal break down vs the other versions I have used in them.

Put in compressor on service truck got compressor running just like it was when brand new! Didn’t know that oil would make that much of a difference. Also very affordable so I will change it more often.

Works as designed

My old air compressor, 220v, 2 stage, 80 gal tank, horizontal. Time to change the oil, it used 2 quarts, was cheaper to buy a gallon than 2 quarts. Got enough left over for a second change when it is due. Compressor runs cooler and quieter now. Also this product is synthetic, so I expect better performance no matter what time of the year or outside temperature. A good buy, and a good product.

first of all, i NEVER write reviews, but i absolutely had to considering the staggering difference.This product lowered the temperature of my big 60gal 3 piston motor air compressor by like 50%it didnt just lower the temp, but it reduced the amount of water every night when i open the valve to release all the water out. it reduced the water by over 75% WOW i was running all season select ingersoll rand before switching to this, i will never buy anything ever again. this is incredible. the last oil all season select i only had in the compressor since july so it was also pretty newish, just surprised by the difference, this is a no brainer buy.

Works as described

Having experienced some overheating with the manufacturer recommended oil I gave this a try and I am really happy - it's taken 20-30 degrees of heat out! Great product.
