Great machine!
The media could not be loaded. Yes, it is a bit expensive but produces great espresso and coffees. The various types of coffees offered are very distinctive and taste amazing, even cold brew. Great way to explore different coffees that you otherwise would probably not.The milk frother works amazing on whole milk products but not as well on alternatives. You may want to buy another milk container or adapter with the tube just for cleaning as the milk container has an odd shape and not so easy to clean. The touch screen is very responsive, but I worry about the longevity. I purchased an extended warranty through Bosch just in case. The drip tray fills up rather quickly and if you use milk products, you'll want to rinse daily. I place a small cup to catch the rise cycles during power on/off.My only complaint would be I wish the spout went a little higher to accommodate travel mugs. You can purchase the coffee pot to make 16/32 oz of coffee, but as you can see the price climbs a little bit after purchase for an already expensive machine. If you have guests, this is a great conversation piece and everyone loves trying out different coffees and exploring all of its offerings with the gorgeous touch screen panel. The app is very responsive and extremely useful. If you want to string together a series of coffee and/or milk selections you can. Let's say you make a milk based coffee but like extra milk, or want to add a shot of espresso, you can string those two together and save as a favorite. You can now create your favorite cup with a single press of a button.

Love it!
Have had mine now for 4 months and couldn’t be happier. Great product with a variety of coffee options. Everyone who I make a cup for loves it. Only issues is that the warm milk feature doesn’t let you set milk temp. The cup warmer doesn’t really warm cups. But don’t get me wrong the macchiato and cappuccino are fantastic and it’s super easy to use. In total it was worth every penny. It’s quiet even when grinding beans, it’s consistent, and it makes several types from espresso to a standard cup of joe.

Poor design
The bean hopper is designed with a plastic "grill" over the grinder. When you pour in coffee beans they tend to bounce off the grill and go all over the counter. You have to pour real slow and push the beans through the grill as you go along to avoid this. The used "pucks" of coffee are deposited straight into the drip tray where they mix with water and turn into a sludge. They give you a plastic flat shovel like scooper to remove the grinds, but it is pretty much like cleaning out a cat litter box.The touch menu/buttons do not work well. I had to 'tap' to get them to work mote often than not. The real show stopper was the On/Off button. From day 1 I always had to press it several times until I could the machine to turn on or off. After about 2 weeks it simply stopped working.Maybe I got a lemon, I don't know, but I had to return the machine. I decided not to exchange for a new one but instead went the Jura Z10 (which I'm super happy with)

Excellent!
We tried 4 different automatic coffee machines and this was the best, that is before paying the price for a Jura!! We bought ours on sale $1800 on Prime Day. The 300 series didn’t give “hot” coffee, so we returned it for this one. It makes hot, good tasting, non-bitter coffee. We spend the $$$ for great coffee beans, from a local roasting company.. It’s very user friendly. It was easy to set up and it’s easy to use. It notifies you to empty any/all 3 items when necessary. I love the favorites button and the easy touch screen. It has nice graphics. It doesn’t look cheap like some others (at the same price point) and It’s nice looking on the counter also :) I’m not sure why the poor ratings, it’s excellent, in all areas!

Wonderful, effortless espresso and lattes.
The media could not be loaded. This machine makes delicious, effortless coffee and espresso. The beans are easy to add, and water tank is very easy to fill (it also has its own water filter). Milk container is very easy to add and it foams milk perfectly (even almond milk). All of it is easy to clean, and has a rinse cycle when it turns on and right before it turns off. Machine can be connected to wifi and you can easily adjust setting from your phone or the machine. I did read some other reviews that said the coffee wasn’t hot, I haven’t had any trouble with coffee temperatures. Each cup has been delicious. This Bosch espresso maker is well worth the price.
