My daughter is 17 and for the past year, when weather is good, she goes to the nursing home across the street and draws a new picture for the residents at their front doors. They even have a suggestion box inside and she draws one out and attempts their suggestions. She often practices at home first and I have seen the quality of the chalk firsthand. My daughter is saving for black and white box next because the black is SO vibrant and makes her murals pop. It even washes off well and no intense scrubbing is needed.My advice, if you are debating on purchasing, just do it! It is well worth every penny!

A few sticks were broken, but it’s chalk and they still work. I was concerned about the white being sandwiched between the black, but I was pleased to find the white pieces were wrapped separately so there was no mixing of colors!

It's Messy, so hose off the kids. They'll have fun with it, I only let them use it for outline drawing. Trace around the foot, Instant minion if you have yellow chalk. Will hose off well, Rain will lighten it, but if that doesn't bother you, enjoy the art. I only let them use it outside on the cement. You get that in carpet.. too bad, feels like heavy black pastel. though I know the pigment isn't artist quality, it will still stay in the carpet. Baby wipes clean the white ok, but soap and water for the black, ( skin)

I like to have black chalk to outline on the sidewalk and white chalk to blend other colors. These work Great for both purposes. After it rains, the black chalk will still be on the side walk for 4 weeks.

So many colors and the handy protective basket with a handle is helpful. 👍

We bought this chalk for a chalk art competition. When my daughter went to use it, it was very soft and the quality did not hold up for it to be useful on high-quality projects. It might be ok for play on the driveway, but not other things.

The white and black are so pigmented! Not too great for kids because it gets on EVERYTHING! But I just make sure not to give my son those colors and use them when I’m drawing with him! When you rinse them they almost look a little oily? Which is odd but it doesn’t stain the ground that I’ve noticed.
