Interesting tool for throw training.
These have been helpful to teach my girls to release the ball out front with a good spin. They are fun to use and can make a great game to challenge young throwers.

helps mechanics
if you or your child are struggling with the right throwing mechanics and release point, or dropping their elbow this does seem to help them recognize when they get it right it's easier to get this training too to do what you want it to do. i keep one in my car just to play catch with anytime!

Learning to throw without having to throw a true ball
This is great to start teaching kiddos different types of pitching styles. It is helps with exemplifying how a different hand placements can make a big difference. It is a nice station to have during practice to allow the kids to have instant feedback and can do it independently.

Interesting throwing aid
My son started little league recently and he needed some work on his throw. I ordered these to help him better visualize when his throws are correct. I think these things do a decent job with that. The only thing to keep in mind is that you need a reasonable amount of power to get it to move correctly, so it isn't great for little kids.

I get the concept, but this is probably a first time player tool
To get a few things cleared up, the instructions are not good and the QR code on the packaging takes you to a non-existent video site. If you have a product that you just have to "try" and guess how to use, not starting off well.Once I learned how to use it properly, it seemed almost too easy. Granted I have been playing baseball for decades, but my son who has only played a few years immediately start receiving "positive" feedback too when throwing. So, if you are picking up a baseball for the FIRST time, I can see understanding how pressure and release points affect the spin rate is good immediate feedback. But, once you have played baseball for any amount of time, this isn't going to teach anyone other than a beginner anything about throwing a baseball. The product claims the product will help you increase velocity and improve accuracy, maybe if you are literally just learning how to throw a baseball. But it will not help anyone who has is playing much beyond Tee-Ball with velocity and accuracy.Bottom line, anyone who has progressed past some of the most fundamental stages of throwing and catching a baseball will get next to zero useful feedback from this trainer. If you are learning to throw a baseball for the first time, I can see it as a moderately valuable feedback tool to learn spin technique when thinking about pressure and release. Unfortunately, it is hard to figure out due to a lack of instruction, and it doesn't live up to those claims on the product page.

Great for kids
These are made well. Great for teaching kids how to properly hold and throw a baseball. Super easy to use and keep clean. Great for all ages and good gift idea for kids starting to get into sports!

Only four seam grips comfortably
For seam, two Sean, curve, all flew pretty normally. These don't fail to fly if you use a grip other than four seam, but I guess it can help people learn what the proper grip feels like.I was expecting them to be made of foamy material, but they're hard plastic.
