Punches Above its Weight
I had a great Kenmore grill that lasted almost 8 years on a 5 year burner warranty and I loved that grill. Alas, it was time to get a new one and I was hesitant about visiting crowded DIY/hardware stores considering our current situation. I did a lot of research, and although I was not a huge fan of buying a grill online without seeing it first, I'm extremely glad I did. This is a very sturdy, well-built grill; it makes my old one look like a cheap knock-off. Looks great and has thicker panels and cookbox. It was easy to build (just a screwdriver is needed), everything lined up correctly, and it only took about 1.5 hours from ripping the box open to finishing up and bringing the box to the dumpster. I fired it up and all the burners lit with no problem. Cooked my first meal last night and it got up to temp quickly and cooked evenly. I thought the illuminated dials were a gimmick, but they look great, light up bright, and when I sent a pic to a hardcore Weber loving friend he commented on how brilliant a feature it was. I did reach back out the manufacturer with a question and the response was quick and very helpful. With an 8 year burner warranty, I don't see how it could last less than that provided it's taken care of. I don't know how you could do any better in the $300 range. Get yourself a nice cover and enjoy this grill for years to come. If any issues arise, I'll be sure to add to the review.

BEST GRILL EVER!
I recently bought the Monument Grills Larger 4-Burner Propane Gas Grill. It arrived quickly. It was easy to assemble by reading a few instructions one time. I was impressed immediately with the quality of the materials. The burners are high quality and I cannot imagine they'd need replacing for a LONG time. The undercarriage is sturdy and it has an amazing drip pan that is much larger than most! The grates are quality as well, and they seasoned very easily. The pit has very even heat distribution when cooking, and heats quickly. The side burner also heats well and is very impressive. Bottom line, I am 69 years old and have used MANY grills in my lifetime. This Monument grill is the best by far! The price was good, and I contacted their customer service to ask a question and was treated very well. I have no doubt this company stands behind their products. My family loves barbecue, and they love this pit as much as my wife and I do. Best part is how fast it heats up. We throw on a rib eye or two and we are eating within 10 minutes. And it is goooooood! Sure happy with my new Monument Grill!

Very good Grill, use 4 hands for assembly
Very well thought out instructions for assembly. Use two people to lift the top out of the package and position on the base. The grill heats very evenly in a short amount of time. Haven’t tried the rotisserie attachment yet but other people say it does great. Great for all meats and also does well with pizza too.

Not to difficult to assemble, buy please bring some patience.
I purchased this product solely based on reviews. Grant you, I may have paid $10 more than what the big box stores (Home Depot & Lowes) were selling the same grill for however, I didn't have to worry about damaged sides that required a hammer to pound out dents. The only tool you will need is a Philips head screw driver. The instructions are in schematic form, so review each step to ensure that you are placing the parts in the correct location. When taking the contents out of the box, be sure to remove all the styrofoam in the body of the grill, especially where the stainless drip tray slides in the back. The manufacturer packaged the foam in the cavity very tight and when taking the plastic and carboard protection off, the foam broke in the channel cavity. If the foam is still there, it will not slide in. I give the manufacturer a lot of credit for making sure that the grill is packaged the way it was, no pieces were bent, dented or missing. I believe it was Figure 12 or 13 where it got tricky when connecting the gas side burner assembly. If you search youtube monument grills side burner assembly, there is a video that will provide more clarity to the side burner assembly. The schematic, if not studied very closely is confusing, but once figured out, it all falls into place (this is where you need the patience). One other complaint is the wiring. I think the technical writers missed the mark and could have added to the instructions and schematic another sentence that the red wires (one wire with white connection & the other with a blue connector) should go together on the side burner and the other two black wires are for the battery box. It took about 2-1/2 hours for me and hubby to assemble the grill. One feature we do like is that it has a LED flexible light that plugs into a USB port near the side burner. There is a switch on the right side of the grill to turn on the LED lighting on the knobs and the side burner. Since we like to grill at night, its a great feature to have. Our first meal cooked on the new grill were NY strip steaks. They were absolutely delicious. The thermometer on top of the grill is very helpful too. I don't know how accurate it is, but at least it give me a ballpark on how hot the grill gets.Overall, we are very happy with this purchase. Even though I took the photo's in my living room after it was assembled, I assure you that we grilled out absolutely delicious steaks outdoors. Looking forward to the first summer barbeque with family and friends.

Sturdy grill with great ventilation
We've only used this grill a few times, and we already love it. It came earlier than expected, so that was a plus. Very attractive look and substantial weight. Its design allows for plenty of ventilation in the back of the grill, and allows for easy cleaning. Really like the removable grease and spill tray! Regulation is on target, and food is a breeze to cook. It did take about 5 hours of assembly.
