Got this on a whim. Comes in a small bottle and is a black tarry substance that you scoop out and place in a glass of water. As it is very sticky ad gooey, its better placed in hot/warm water to drink as a tea as when placed in colder water, it does not dissolve easily. The product has a ok taste and does give a noticeable boost in energy and alertness sort of like coffee. The item I don't like is getting this to dissolve in water. That is a kind of a pain.

The resin is incredibly thick and although the supplement works great the mess it generates is not. It also has a nasty habit of gluing the lid shut.Great supplement and its made improvements but it needs to be thinned down just a tad.

First off, I wanted to say that this stuff is delicious. Too delicious. I have used several different shilajit products and they have always had a very bitter taste. Similar to what I would imagine chewing on mountain tar to taste like. This product tastes and looks suspiciously like molasses. I have no real way to test what is inside this container so I can’t tell for sure but I highly doubt this is the real stuff. Which makes me wonder what it really has in it. Take my opinion with a grain of salt because that’s all it is, my opinion. But I will not be continuing to use this product.

I started taking this shijalit to see if I can benefit from it.After taking it for a week, I actually feel spriter and more energy...very easy to take and so far have not any side effects. Good value and that bottle will last longer than you might think.

When I first received this product to review, I had heard of the benefits of Shilajit before but I went to review and the product was taken down. I was worried it was a scam and was a bad batch but now that it is up and others have tried it, it seemed safe! :) I haven't felt a huge difference but I will say the taste isn't great, but a lot of heathy things taste bad so just trying to get past that in hopes I can feel a difference in a month or so!

Well packaged. Tastes like chocolate syrup, easy to incorporate into coffee, drinks. Gives an enjoyable boost similar to a good cup of tea.

I am no scientist and have no means of testing the ingredients, so how can I know what's really in this?The only way I can test it is to to ingest it and see what happens. At first I was expecting something really bitter and nasty. I tried it first by adding it to water. Honestly, it still tasted like water. Then I took a little on my tongue and was surprised at how sweet is was, and not bitter at all. I could detect a particular flavor that seemed familiar, but couldn't identify it.Perhaps this really does contain 85 plus trace minerals like the listing says. But as a "certifiable skeptic" I wondered how much of them there is, and are they really a benefit. But then, according to the Amazon listing (but not the product label) it contains 60% fulvic acid. A little research on that and it seems that fulvic acid has a number of positive health benefits. It can chelate heavy metals in the body (I guess that's some kind of chemical bond to lessen the bad effects of too much metal in the body). It's good for gut health etc... That all sounds good.But for me, this product didn't pass the bitter medicine test. That is, if it tastes bad, it must be doing something good. This doesn't taste bad at all! So is it really doing any good? Perhaps! Since it tastes so sweet though, I've decided to add a little to my coffee every day. After drinking my coffee today an interesting observation is that smelling the empty coffee cup I can detect a smell like a Chinese medicine shop. The smell is also similar to those sweetened powdered ginseng packets.For comparison, I tried another shilajit product and that other product has a thicker viscosity and actually has somewhat of a nasty taste. But, these are just my observations and are totally unscientific. So take it for what it's worth. I'm giving this product the benefit of the doubt and giving it 4 stars. I suppose the only way is to try it yourself and see whether you feel any benefits. I'll use it all up, and if I feel any different, perhaps I'll update my review.
