Do you know how hard it is to find #9 envelopes at a brick-and-mortar store that doesn't come in a box of 500? And, if you do find a box of them, they tend to have the see-through window on them. I went to several different office supply retailers (and similar stores) to purchase #9 envelopes and could not find a box count and price that fit my budget. CheckOMatic came to the rescue by selling a box count that I could work with, and for a price that wouldn't break the bank.The envelopes shipped quickly and are packaged in a sturdy cardboard box with an easy flip lid.I am also pleased with the quality of the envelopes. The #9s are not flimsy and offer sturdy construction. They are made with dark tinted security, which means that your private information is kept safe. I use them when a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) is required. You stick a #9 inside of a #10 envelope (the standard business-sized envelope size sold everywhere), and you don't have to worry about awkwardly folding an envelope to make it fit. The envelopes would also definitely make a solid addition to a business office. I'm very pleased to have found something to meet my needs.

I bought these to be printed return envelopes inside number 10 envelopes. They happen to be the same opaque interior as my number 10. The package size is more than I really wanted to buy,, but for ordinary mailing they can be used as a substitute for a number 10s and go through the printer the same way.

Your life with #10 envelopes is OVER. Do you even know why you have been buying #10 envelopes your entire adult life? Neither did I, until I tried #9 envelopes. #9 envelopes actually fit a 3-folded piece of 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper PERFECTLY. No sliding around inside the envelope, no extra space. Just snug and secure. A bonus feature of a #9 envelope is that it fits inside a #10 envelope, so you can easily send a return envelope without having to fold it. Genius. These envelopes come in a nice thick corrugated cardboard box with attached folding lid.

I prefer #9 to #10. These are good, nice security, stays shut. I will buy them again.

Fits well inside standard (size 10) envelopes and still able to place 8.5 inch wide folded paper in its interior. The only down side is the paper stock on the envelop itself is a little thin but otherwise still does the job. Can also be used in place of the standard size envelopes for regular mailings.

Just what I needed. I use one a month so I'm good for a while. I think the box they came in is worth as much as the envelopes!Edit:After printing two in my laser printer, the toner doesn't adhere well to these envelopes. It smudges off too easily. Now I have to put tape over the addresses to protect them, or 'gasp' hand print the envelopes.

It is exactly what I have been looking for. Over the last few years I have been trying to find a #9 security envelope. Finally I found it at CheckOMatic and am very pleased. It was frustrating to find an unlimited number in #10 envelopes -- but never in #9's. Reading other reviews, I am clearly not the only person looking for this item.

Fast service. Otherwise: look like pretty regulae envelopes, sturdier than some cheap ones, nice paper.
