Good quality breadmaker.
I recently purchased this bread maker, and I am very pleased with its performance. The build quality is solid, and it feels durable. The machine is easy to use, with intuitive controls and a variety of settings to customize the baking process. The bread turns out soft on the inside with a nice crust, and I appreciate the ability to choose between different loaf sizes and crust colors. The delay timer is a great feature, allowing me to wake up to freshly baked bread. Cleaning is also simple, as the non-stick ceramic pan makes it easy to remove any residue.Overall, this is a reliable and efficient bread maker that delivers great results. If you're looking for a high-quality machine that produces delicious homemade bread, this is a great choice!

KBS MBF-011 & MBF-016 Both Excellent Bread Makers
I purchased the MBF-011 in late February, 2024 to replace a well worn-out 1990’s Breadman machine. I was impressed with the oval shape of the pan that would produce a loaf shape much more like store bought. The multiple settings provided and degree of timing control within those settings is also impressive. I initially made 2 loaves of 1 lb bread, the first a French loaf using the provided recipe book and the second a honey white loaf using a recipe of my own. Both came out evenly baked with a nice crust, and tasty. I did have a problem with the pan being difficult to remove. A twisting motion is required that appeared to require too much force. I contacted John at Customer Service. He quickly responded with suggestions for easier removal and also offered to send a new pan and paddle! The new pan arrived the next day and performed without further incident.I obtained a new MBF-016 that was delivered April 10th, 2024 and I proceeded to compare the equipment and to make some bread. The new model is slightly lighter, 9.2 vs 12.8 lbs. with a smaller motor and single heating element. The new machine provided 19 functions vs 17, and did not provide a fruit & nut dispenser. The new keypad is push button vs touch sensitive. The operating functions are significantly different, each allowing a different degree of control over certain functions. It takes a bit of studying to become familiar with all of them. Fortunately, the “default” settings on both will probably satisfy all but the most adventurist baker.I proceeded to make several loaves in a side-by-side comparison. The MBF-011 had a stronger stirring/kneading motion but the MBF-016 also performed well and did not struggle with any of the breads. Pictures below are images of a honey white, whole wheat, and pumpernickel. All were evenly baked, with a nice crust and good density. The MBF-011 took slightly longer to complete its cycles and produced a loaf that was slightly higher than the MBF-016.A caution: Most of the recipes I have seen published equate loaf size with quantity of flour specified, e.g., 1 lb = 2 cups, 1.5 lb = 3 cups, and 2 lb = 4 cups. I attempted to make a 2 lb, 4 cup sourdough recipe that overflowed the pan. I then tried a 2 lb whole wheat recipe from the provided instructions and it came out fine. The flour quantity, however was 3 cups and the resulting bread loaf was 1 ¾ lb. This is not a major issue for me as I rarely would want to make a 2 lb loaf and it appears that the machine settings are fine for the recipe sizes I have used to date.Overall, both machines performed as expected, providing excellent results for all breads tried so far. Customer service has been excellent. Documentation & recipe instructions are adequate but could use some editing & improvement.

Make Healthy Tasty Bread
When I ordered my KBS 2lb. 19 in 1 Program Bread Maker, I was very happy to receive it in just 5 days. Although I was not familiar with the KBS brand, I was extremely impressed with the speed of delivery, packaging and quality accessories. The 650 watt motor was a selling point for me. The ceramic coated bread pan, manual, recipe book, measuring cup/spoon/paddle hook, paddle and oven mit were all included. I was immediately happy to see buttons rather than touch screen controls, as they are not likely to be accidentally selected. My first loaf of bread in the KBS was a French Bread recipe that was in the manual. I do appreciate the gram measures as it is more precise and as I have learned, all flours weights are different. Selecting the medium crust and 1.5 lb. loaf size, as suggested for a first loaf, I found the result gratifying. It looked and tasted delicious. Slicing it, after completely cooled, revealed a perfect crumb and the crust was crusty...my favorite part. I might mention that a KBS contact email is printed on every page of the manual. This is reassuring. I next baked a whole wheat loaf that was equally wonderful and tasty. Both breads are delicious toasted as well. By coating the paddle shaft with a little Crisco, I was able to remove the paddle at the very beginning of the 3rd ferment (slightly repositioning the dough ball), to have just a small hole in the bottom of the baked bread. If one misses this crucial timing, the paddle still slides off the shaft easily, even when the bread is finished baking. If frozen, the bread retains its fresh quality when thawed and stays fresh longer then after first baked. So if you can't consume the whole loaf within a day or 2, freeze it for at least 24 hours. I highly recommend the KBS 2lb. 19 in 1 Program Bread Maker to anyone who wishes to have fresh bread that contains only what you put into it. It is an attractive, modern and compact appliance, taking up little counter space and is beginner friendly. It is simple to use with great results.

Good machine, beeping is loud
I use this bread machine to make sourdough sandwich loaves. The machine itself is great! The settings are very customizable and it bakes the bread evenly. The ceramic loaf pan is very nonstick and one of the best features of the machine so far.I have not used any of the recipes that came with the machine, so I can’t speak to how well they work. One thing I don’t like is how loud the beep is to signify the end of a cycle. It’s loud enough to wake up the house if you’re baking bread at night.Overall, it’s a good machine and I’m excited to utilize the other functions such as the yogurt and jam settings.

Works makes good bread. Easy to use.
First time buying a bread machine. Been making bread at least 2x a week. So far just basic 1.5 pound loaf. I love it. Taste natural and I make sandwiches or eat with butter. Machine has been working as expected and no issues so far.
