Great for measuring pitch speed
My son loves this, the tripod is easy to set up and works great for measuring the speed of his pitches. Portable and it seems to be accurate.

Seems somewhat accurate
So I sat this up per the manuals instructions and tested it both ways, and I thought it was accurate as it recorded my sons pitches pretty consistently, that is until I began throwing some. It seems accurate to about 30-45 mph..but I struggle to get it to read anything over 50-53, and with big brand “pocket radar” to back up my theory, I’m confident the issue lies within this radar. I can comfortably throw 65-72 mph, however I can’t get this radar to read anything beyond about 50..I think out of a few hundred pitches I’ve seen it max at 53 like one time. Otherwise it reports my pitching in the 30’s or 40’s. Very odd; but for my 9u player it seems to do ok.

Accurate but need to be close
This is a simple to use Radar Gun. It appears to be accurate, and it is super easy to use. Also, if you've priced them, you will know that this is a great value. While I gave it 5 stars for Accuracy, Value, and Ease of Use, I only gave it 4 stars Overall because the Radar needs to be close. Once I exceeded about 10', I was no longer able to get a reading. That makes this a great option for training purposes, but not suitable for sitting in the stands at a game to clock pitch speed or exit velo.

(Un)fortunately Accurate
Hey if you want to be humbled as a 40+ year old person throwing a baseball as hard as you possible can and barely reaching the low 60s this a great product for you! Seriously, it IS a great product. The tripod is terrible quality, but the radar gun itself is cheap enough cost wise that’s it’s worth it even if you want to invest in a better tripod. It IS accurate—our family did 2 tests to check. 1) setting up in the road and driving by it to compare the MPH vs our vehicles speedometer and 2) setting it up in the road and riding my electric road bike by it that has a built in speedometer. Both tests verified matching radar outputs either exactly or within 1-2 mph. Yes I could recommend this product. We use it for baseball and hockey.

Great Quality!
Husband enjoys using this at baseball practice. Very functional, easy to move, and travel with. Boys enjoy seeing their pitching speed.

It's a gift
This was given to my grandson as a gift. So, I haven't used it myself but have heard no complaints. And you can believe me, if it weren't working as advertised he would have let me know.
