I got these today and my 10 year old son and I each assembled one using the provided paper instructions. They were quick and easy to assemble, and dummy-proof because while the pieces felt like they were going in upside down, it wouldn't even let us put them in the wrong way. We filled them up and hung them outside, expecting the birds to take a few days to use them, but it took just about 10 minutes.I don't recommend sticking with smaller seeds. I have no waste fruit and nut big chunky seed that seems like it is going to get stuck. The birds seem to be able to pull enough out still, so maybe that helps keep it from flowing out too quickly, but I will try smaller seed variety next.Mostly saw finches on them today, but a few larger birds seemed to use it just fine, including Red-winged Blackbird, Starling, and Black-Headed Grosbeak.The lid twist-locks in place so it can't be lifted off, but is an easy twist to loosen. The hanging wire is pretty long and not adjustable.These will be easy to clean since the opening is so wide.

These are easy to put together and hold a good amount of seed. They attract lots of birds and they're a good value and very cute!

The birdfeeders were just as advertised and I actually thought they were better than advertised. Very easy to put together and fill. The only thing I don’t like about the feeders is that there is a little channel that food gets stuck in all the way around the base of the feeder. It has to be cleaned out almost daily otherwise it gathers moisture and molds. I may also be using feed that is too big but it sometimes does not come out easily. I have to shake it out and clear it for the birds. But having been through near tornado winds the feeders are very well built and I would buy them again!

I love that these come in a 2-pack. They were well-packaged and very easy to assemble and fill and hang. There are a lot of parts to assemble but it was really easy. I've seen birds at both my feeders now. The top does kind of twist on but it's not super tight. I have not had a squirrel test it yet but I've got another similarly designed feeder (similar shape and lid design) and it's stayed secure for a few years now so I'm hoping reviews mentioning loose lids on these were just due to the lids not being twisted on completely. They have a classic design that blends into my landscape and aesthetic. I chose black but they come in a bunch of other colors. Will they last for years? I don't know. I am very pleased, so far, with their function though.

As everyone says these feeders are easy to assemble and fill. I find the quality reasonable for the price.The only thing I don't like is that the finches knock a lot of seed out into the ground to get at the seed they want. I completely filled two of these and in only a couple days they were empty and the ground was covered in seed. At this rate I'd go through a 40 bag in less than a month.If you don't mind a lot of wasted seed on the ground these might be for you. In my case I think I'll look for a less messy feeder.

When I opened my Amazon box and saw the box oackaging, I was pleasantly surprised as it is aesthetic and gifting quality. Upon opening the gift box, I was a little wary when I saw that you have to put these together. However, yet again, I was pleasantly surprised with the ease and quality color photo instructions. They even have a QR code if you want to watch a video installation guide. It literally only took about 5 minutes to put these together. Easy no-tool snap together construction. These are nicer quality plastic bird feeders than I have purchased (for a lot more!) at lawn and garden stores. Highly recommend for yourself or as a gift. And, because you put them together, you know how to take them apart for cleaning.

Even though these are entirely plastic, my birds really like them.

I specifically thought this bird feeder was larger than it is. It is easy to assemble and quite sturdy. However, the volume of birds I feed easily devour all the bird feed in less than eight hours. So, I take off one star for the size. Otherwise, it is a great product.
