A great lamp, can be put in so many positions, really great for making Jewelry or repairing Watches or doing any Fine detail work. Very heavy duty Steel so would be great in a Man's workshop, it can be secured to a surface, but the balance makes it very steady while you are working. It has a good weight so it won't move around but easy and light enough to pick easily. It is a really good value for the money and the magnifying lens is very clear and easy to look through, but strong enough for intricate work.

I'm happy with the functionality and quality of the magnifier. I have one peeve and I didn't take off a star for it because it appears many sellers are grossly exaggerating the magnification. This is listed as a 10X and it's roughly equivalent to my 3X handheld. If it were truly 10X it would be unusable for most purposes.

Easy to position design with a clear magnifying lens. Has sturdy base, which is larger than I expected. Would have liked a smaller base, but to work effectively and be stable, it is what it is. Definitely recommend.

Very happy with this purchase! Bought it for my husband for his watch repair/building hobby, but we use it all the time for everything between watch repair, medical issues, fine print, etc. The light is extremely bright and the lens is clear.

Bright light and strong magnification. This lamp was a gamechanger for my artwork. I do calligraphy, which is enough of a strain on my aging eyes, but my pieces often have tiny, detailed borders with flowers and leaves, and I have spent hours blending teeny watercolors under this magnifier. I have recommended it to friends several times. Definitely a must-buy.

So here’s my complaint about this magnifying light: you are pretty limited on how much you can position it. It’s pretty much up and down, and rotate/ tilt the lamp on the stand. Seems like every time I use it, I have to adapt to its limited adjustments. It’s ok and I kept it because the magnifying lamp part is useful.In the future I may figure out a better mounting mechanism 🤷‍♂️

I bought this magnifying lamp for my wife and her bead work. This is a quality built unit. The light brightness is more than enough for her work and the flexibility of color temperature is a nice feature. When buying, I looked for a table clamp and base-mount unit for flexibility, this unit offers both. Highly recommend.
