The instructions are garbage. The tab on the door / cover to the battery compartment on one of the controllers snapped off and now the cover won’t stay on. Both controllers power on but the “pilot light” as referred to on one of the pictures only flashes blue and red. The instructions don’t say how to correct. The product description says essentially “contact me about problems co” and is cut off so I can’t communicate with the seller. The first page of games looks interesting but I’m getting my money back because of these problems and an inability to get either controller to pair w the device.

First off it's works great, some games are from different regions like Japan for Pokemon games but play great. You can download games onto the SD card using a USB flash drive or like I did with an old phone. Some games I downloaded did work, not sure why. Maybe the size of the game but I downloaded Super R-Type and Pokemon FireRed just fine, but Resident Evil 3 and a Pokemon ROM hack didn't work (Soothing Silver). Overall definitely worth the $40. The instructions are terrible but there are videos on YouTube to help (not complicated) and the controllers need AAA batteries 2 each. If the game system is working or responding to the controller just unplug and plug back in, or the controller shuts off after inactivity just turn it off and back on. Me and our 17 have been enjoying it so far.

The directions tell you nothing. I had to come back and watch the video. Everything is in Chinese, you sit there pushing buttons because most of the buttons do nothing. Waste of money

As other reviews state, the battery compartment cover broke the very first time I touched it. Total garbage. A pox on the sellers.

Items would not power on

This would be super cool, except the controllers won’t pair. They just flash lights and then nothing. Sending it back.

Device is easy to setup and get playing. My experience with it has been pretty positive. Setup was easy, but due to where my HDMI ports are, I had to add an extension, so have one handy just in case. Once setup, the device booted immediately, and I was greeted with multiple console selections, as well as Arcade. The Device comes with 2 controllers that require no pairing out the box, and allows for a second person to join in for classics like Contra, or TMNT Arcade. HDMI connection gives a crisp, clear picture, so you can see all the pixels the Classics had to offer.
