I've stumbled upon on of our families most fun backyard Games to date! Kubb entertains my rowdy family (of all ages) for hours! This Viking-inspired throwing game is a mix of strategy, skill, and a touch of luck, making it an instant hit!I admit I was a bit intimidated at first because the rules seemed a little complex, and I wasn't sure if my grandkids (or my husband, for that matter) would have the patience for it. But I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to pick up. The basic concept is simple: two teams take turns throwing wooden batons to knock down their opponent's blocks (called kubbs), and ultimately, the king.The strategy comes in when you're deciding which kubbs to target and how to position your throws. It's a surprisingly engaging game that keeps everyone on their toes (and laughing when someone's aim goes hilariously wrong).The Kubb Game Set comes complete needed to play: sturdy wooden kubbs and batons, four corner stakes to mark the playing field, and a handy carrying bag. The pieces are well-made and so far have held up pretty well to many beach battles with only minor scars.We've played Kubb on grass, but mostly we play on the beach, and it's always a blast. It's a great way to get everyone outside, moving around, and having fun together. I love that it's a game that all ages can enjoy. The younger ones love the throwing aspect, while as we get older we seem to get more into the strategy. Sometimes we play buddies within our teams and pair an adult with a younger one so everyone gets to have fun. That way there are a lot more blunders, and laughs! It's a great equalizer, and it's always fun to see who comes out on top.I've enjoyed adding this to corn hole and croquet to play in our yard and at our beach outings. This is a 5 star game!

I was surprised to find these are about 1/2 size of the standard Kubb set size. Advertising is a bit deceptive, should do more to explain 1/2 size set.

All the pieces are well built and the storage bag is fairly good. I like the sackcloth look to the bag. The main piece is nice and obvious. Everything looks visibly great. The only issue is the size.I had played this game before and was interested in owning it myself. It was great but something seemed off. I later realized that it is a miniature version of the original. This could be fine since everything works the same. The pieces still stand up on the ground but they'll just be less stable. However, it's really bad that the product page did not acknowledge that it was a miniature version. Because of this, I am giving it 3 stars. It is fairly deceptive, intentional or not. I hope the page gets updated.

This is a super fun game for gatherings.Easy to setup, easy to learn how to play. Well made game that has already taken some hits.Make sure you’ve got a good amount of space to play.I prefer to keep the younger kids out of this game since it involves throwing sticks, lol.

too small and made for little kids. regulation kubb blocks are much bigger

Bought this for outside activity for my kids. They love it, we take it to bbqs and it’s a must take when we go camping.
