This instant hot water heater did give me hot water, but it didn’t run for long. Nowhere in the ad did it state anything about the type of water going through it. I think it quit because my hard water probably had some buildup in it and it stopped working. I was really hoping to have an instant hot water heater in my home to be more efficient. It was running for about a week before it quit and I can only believe that rust might’ve built up or lime might’ve built up and that’s what stopped it from working. Once I was able to get someone to help me install it, it was pretty easy to install. I’m just pretty disappointed that it quits so soon, maybe because my water is so hard. I probably would recommend this if you have good city water but if you have well water, that’s very hard. It probably won’t work for you.

This works well for my single bathroom. It requires a 240V and 40 amp breaker which will need 8 awg gauge wire. If you are putting this far away from breaker panel, you will probably have to hire someone to install this unless you do electrical work. This unit has enough water flow to power a single shower no problem in southern us. As with any tankless, cold temperatures can affect performance. The unit is easy to operate overall featuring a touch screen. Overall, the unit seems to be good quality and has performed well for my needs.

you can install this quicker than it will heat the water. instructions are included but apparently not for this unit as mine had multiple modes from p1 to p8. no where in the instructions did it say what those were for and i could not tell any difference between theml. the function key seemed to do nothing. the instructions talk about three modes, that i could not find. my unit had no issue heating the water up to the temp i selected. the water going into the heater was 60 dgerees and it took about 20 seconds of running the water for the outlet temp to reach 110. in my opinion that is a lot of water wasted to get hot water as my pump runs about 4 gpm. overall it seems well made. the digital readout tells you what the current temp of water that is leaving the unit. unit does not require a neutral. it comes with an SO cord pigtail about 36" long. i attached these to a 50 amp plug and used that as my local disconnect into a 50 amp receptacle. 8 gauge wire back to the 40 amp circuit breaker in the panel and i was set up.
