I previously had a FM Halo antenna which worked much better than the standard cheap wire antenna that comes with most receivers. The Halo antenna had the advantage of being omni-directional but it has less gain than a dipole antenna. I needed a little better gain for the two FM stations that I listen to so I wanted to try a dipole antenna.I just installed this Channel Master antenna in the attic of my work shop. Being a standard dipole design it supplies more gain along the main lobe than the Halo antenna. This supplied enough additional gain to completely remove any residual noise. The build quality is excellent.I highly recommend this antenna.

This is just a straightforward half-wave dipole, but it is well-made with high quality fit and finish. As a dipole, however, it works well. Not cheap, but worth it.

With this antenna I get more channels than I get with any other antenna on FM, and they are crystal clear. On AM, I get absolutely nothing. It is not an AM / FM antenna, only FM.
