These make all the difference for visitors.
How great is the HTC Vive!?!?! I love it so much I have invited my work buddies over to test it out. The only problem is that my work buddies are fairly big guys and when you play with the HTC Vive you tend to sweat. One friend of mine attacked both my ceiling fan and the wall but cause no damage. He was so vigorous that when he was done my stock face pad was sodden with his sweat. I didn't know this and after he left I put it on and about puked. I took it off and swapped it with another that came with the HTC Vive and immediately started looking for visitor pads that I would put on when others came over. I washed my original pads in soap and water and let them dry and they are fine. When I have visitors come over I take the soft ones off and put these on and no one knows the difference. These do not soak up sweat and are still very soft and pliable. I still have two that have not been used and I wipe them with a soft cloth if they get surface sweat or dirty. Great product, I will buy again if I need to but the four pack seems to have lasted for several months.

HTC Vive Vr headset foam UPGRADE
I wouldn't call these replacements instead upgrades. The original foam face pads that come with the headset are abrasive, scratchy and absorbed all the sweat. These replacement pads are very different, they keep the sweat from being absorbed into the into the foam to then be held against your face during play time. These are much easier to clean, overall cooler, and more comfortable. I fully recommend making the change if you have a sweating issue when playing. The only recommendation to the maker is to include a plastic center piece that helps guide the pads to a perfect center when installing

Very good upgrade; warning if you work up a sweat while playing
This is a very good upgrade for not much money. Not only is it very comfortable, in my experience the visual fidelity in the Vive is very dependent on getting the lens as close to your eyeball as possible; these are quite thin compared to the original pad (see photo). I found the "sweet spot" where the lens has ideal focus to be more forgiving, and blur which escalates at the periphery to be much less pronounced. I find it difficult to get the original pad this close to my eyes, and it was the best part of using these pads, followed closely by a better feel to the material.A heads up to glasses wearers, I find this pad even more annoying to use in this regard than the original pad, which was already kind of annoying. I found the quick and dirty way was to put my glasses in the headset then put them on with the headset. I worry about them touching the lenses but I'm not really sure how else to handle it besides throwing in contacts or ordering prescription Vive lenses (which seems like a better idea every day).Where I need to warn you is if you sweat in your Vive and enjoy extended play sessions. Because it's smaller, and I don't think it is as evaporative or absorbent as the original pad, the headset seems to not handle sweat as well.I killed a headset recently, actually the first day I switched to this pad. I was playing a strenuous game (for me anyway) for a couple hours without any breaks. Eventually my headset went grey then it wouldn't be detected by SteamVR. I cracked it open and sure enough there was moisture which entered the headset by the microphone/seam where the shell connects and had worked its way to the sensors at either corner, where the most oxidization was visible. Since there isn't much space under the shell, tilting your head down or taking the headset off and setting it down will spread the problem.I can't really blame the pad for this happening, but I really don't think it helped. The thin pad was SOAKED in a way I'd never experienced with the OG pad.I am waiting for a HMD from Ebay to arrive to replace my dead one. When it shows up, I WILL use these still. The comfort and visual fidelity is worth the price of admission. But I will say, for a sweaty guy when I play sweaty games on a device that Google shows has a history of sweat damage, I need all the help I can get on that front, so I will stick to the foam pad which has proven itself to work better for me in the past in extended, strenuous sessions. I will stick to these pads when I'm playing low key or sit down games instead.

Very happy with these.
This is perfect for sharing the device with multiple people, especially for demos with family and friends. They swap out so easily, but still stay in place. I can recommend them for more active VR experiences like boxing, where my forehead gets sweaty. It is easy to remove and clean/dry. I have heard that users should always be cautious of moisture getting into the headset, so beware that these may allow more gaps than the original foam pads. In the end they seem to be a much more sanitary and practical pad than the original, so I recommend upgrading.

Work on Acer WMR Headset
Works great on Acer Windows Mixed Reality Headset! I was going to buy that one specially made for Acer that was double the price for a single pad, but this one for HTC Vive is pretty much the same size. Also, compared to the foam that came on the Acer, it is the same dimensions center to center, but the padding is just wider - more comfort.Because Acer doesn't have a built-in nose cover, with these new pads, there is tiny bit of light leakage, but you become aware of it only when you look way down with you eyes without moving your head. Otherwise, you don't even notice it in-game. I actually appreciate the little bit of visibility outside of the headset; if I want to know where I am in my room, I can quickly tell without having to lift up the headset.Highly recommend!

Glasses wearers beware
Product is on but doesn't work for me. Not enough padding while wearing glasses makes the lenses touch, and the edges are uncomfortable on the bridge of the nose. No center locator pin like HTC branded pads.

A lifesaver for sweaty gamers
Wow these are amazing! cheap and comfortable and I love that they came in a multi pack so I have replacements to swap out when I have guests over. I get really sweaty and play nearly daily for exercise and the poor foam on the original pads were constantly drenched and stinky. The covering material on these is great they never really seem to get wet it’s always just my face, I can easily wipe these down and keep them clean.

Great if you have multiple users
The foam that comes with the headset is quite absorbent, so gets a bit gross after some of the more active games. These are mostly covered in leather-like material, so don't suffer from that problem. They are less pliable, but are about half as thick and do still cushion your face. They lack the locating tab that is on the stock foam but they're not hard to line up and are easy to adjust. The best bit is that I now have a set of cushions, so that my friend can have his own foam and we don't have to rub our faces in each other's sweat.
