To start off, let me say this: when it’s completed, this piece is an exquisite work of art that I could look at for hours. It’s also one of the prettiest music boxes I’ve ever seen. With that said, it’s worth noting how extremely complicated this piece is to assemble. If you plan to purchase this, it’s imperative that you have a minuscule pair of needle-nose pliers and/or mini tweezers and a pair of mini wire cutters on hand if you plan to assemble this in a timely manner. Each piece of metal is attached to a thin metal sheet and needs to be removed via a tiny set of wire cutters. It’s also worth emphasizing how fragile some of those pieces of metal can be, especially if you make a mistake and have to bend the metal a different way. The music box base itself is easy to assemble, the only “tricky” part being when you have to glue the flat metal flowers around it with the included super glue provided in the kit. With that being said, if you plan to assemble this, I recommend buying a tube of good-quality craft/jewelry glue to use for adhering the flowers to the structure itself. Each flower, crane, etc. is attached to the structure with tiny prongs that either have to be twisted 90 degrees or bent. However, if they aren’t twisted/bent right, they will easily fall off when jostled. To prevent that, I strongly recommend using craft glue on the prongs once they’re twisted in place so you don’t have to worry about any piece falling off. From start to finish, this took me a little over 20 hours to complete, but it was definitely worth the time and effort since the end product is stunning and it’s a lit-up music box to boot. So, if you have the time and patience along with the other tools mentioned (wire cutters, mini tweezers/pliers, and craft glue), this puzzle is definitely worth buying and assembling.

I am a fan of other wooden 3d puzzles and you can really feel the downgrade of quality with the coin pusher. The only things actually functional thing in this model is the lever on the side and the power button that moves the coin tray, everything else is just fluff. The rest of the model is also extremely badly designed, twice are you asked to insert spacers right next to another piece, making it impossible to actually put on unless you disassemble the thing. The circuit board included is just covered in so much glue that you physically couldn't fit the piece meant to keep it in place in it. Any time you had to slot 2 pieces together, you had to wax one of them or have the strength of a god to push them in all the way. The coin trays are both made of wood, and refused to slide cleanly even if both were generously waxed. 90% of the way through construction the motor started breaking the attached gear, I assume because there was just so much friction between the coin trays. This thing is also extremely small, only able to hold about 2 quarters total lengthwise on both trays. I'm giving this 2 stars because the finished product is the best looking among all the 3d puzzles I have seen, even if I am unable to actually make it myself. Please have an employee, y'know, make one before deciding to mass produce your next models. I would gladly buy a new version of this pusher if they made it bigger and it was meant to be constructed by humans.

For experienced puzzle builders

Absolutely beautiful! Now putting it together took me about 24 hours in total with in between breaks. The instruction book was great and it had both English and Chinese languages what I will say is pay very close attention to the images to put the right pieces together. I did you a pencil to cross each part I had already gotten. The quality is great and very detailed pieces. No missing pieces it actually came with a lot of extra part just incase you bent or lost the small stuff. Overall I had a lot of fun putting it together and definitely recommend doing it.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this MU Model kit months ago but had been too busy to start it. Then I noticed my arthritis is getting worst so I thought it's now or never, and I can't be happier that I did. I have built many of these projects so I think of myself as experienced and can say this is not an easy one. It requires a lot of patience and the correct tools. But it's so rewarding. I enjoyed every moment of the process and the result is a work of art. I love having it as part of my collection.

Hard? Super hard, it cuts your fingers while attempting to assemble. Is it pretty? I bet it is if you hire a bored Chinese to assemble it for you. You need to get your own hardware to make this work. Instructions? Get magnifying glasses and some amazing mandarin translator because they used google translate to make it somewhat into some sort of proper English.1 star for cuteness2 stars for shipping and excitement to get this productPretty much destroyed with poor instructions and having a life to assemble this.I’ve given up this kit until retirement.
