I got an email requesting a review before I received the order. I was surprised and disappointed that headlamp did not include batteries-- at this price it should have. The binoculars & headlamp were the main items I was interested in for our 5 year old grandson. The headlamp was hard to open to place the batteries, but it will probably be good enough quality if it's not slammed around too much. He will also like the handheld flashflight, which does include batteries.

My 7 year old son has been wanting his own compass and headlamp but it’s hard to find anything that’s not too expensive and more suitable for kids. I like how this includes a whistle and good size binoculars, plus the backpack. It’s a great deal and not cheap quality at all! Great find, highly recommend for those kids that want to explore inside or outside.

Very cheap items... the binoculars are just for pretend, they don't really magnify any view. I was diappointed but my son, who's four, didn't know the difference and like them. I thought it was only worth half of what I paid. Wouldn't recommend.

This toy for children was inexpensive and that was reflected in that the items were cheaply made. However, I didn't expect anything more. My 4 year old grandson liked it and has played with it. It's a great idea though. I would like to see a higher quality product be produced and would be willing to pay more for it.

I purchased this outdoor exploring kit for my nephew’s birthday. My nephew was so excited and as soon as he opened his gift; he instantly put on the little backpack full of his new explorer toys. He marched outside and pulled out his binoculars and compass. My husband and I were so happy to see how much our nephew loved the kit. We were very pleasantly surprised with how great the quality at an awesome price! Highly recommend!

Super cute for little ones to explore the outdoors or enhance the camping experience! My (almost) 4 year old just loved all the little "tools" and immediately wanted use the binoculars to look out our back window for deer. Not sure the magnifying glass will get used much, but the rest definitely will (and the head light might get stolen by me!) - all with a handy bag to hold it in.

This was an item my 7yr old found. It was packaged well and all the items were perfect. Also, the bag is great for keeping everything together. You will need batteries for the headlight though.

Have this to my grandson for Christmas last year and he still likes to play with it a year later. His mom says it's one of his favorite toys. Makes this grandma happy!
