Honest Review after 1 yr using machine
I bought this machine back in Jan 2024 for $450. At the time there weren't many pilate reformer available for purchase, I believe it was during the supply shortage. Anyways, I have been using this machine since and have no issues. For $299 now is a great deal! I would recommend this product. I forgot to mention I am 5'0 so the width of this machine is not so bad for my arms, they have room to be relaxed when I am laying down. I love that it doesnt take to much space in my garage when not in use.

Reforming my body at home!
I think it’s a great way to get a good workout in cost effectively. Monthly memberships are 200/250 a month I can do this at home and sign up for a reformer app and get same workout if not better because I can extend it if I want. My only cons with this is I wasn’t sure how long of a reformer I would need so this one works well for sure but I do wish I might have gone little larger. I did buy a sitting box for lunges and legs workouts which is great and takes away the issue of the full extend using shoulder pads. Other than that it’s great. The metal on metal people say make sure the when you unfold the pieces fit into eachother in middle and the wheels are rolling on metal on mine the lip was folded up and had to be folded down to fit into the slot for the track.

Very sturdy and easy to assemble
First of all this arrived several days early…awesome! It was very easy to assemble, only 6 screws! It is very sturdy and the carriage glides evenly. Would definitely recommend!

Well worth the $
This review was submitted by my wife: First and foremost: I’m a beginner and was paying $150/per 50 minute sessions. That been said: two uses and it paid for itself at $300+/-. Second: it arrived semi-assembled, so putting it together was easy. I didn’t need anyone else to assist. Third: straps are adjustable, so make sure you look under it to adjust according to your height/length. Fourth: I went on social media to find video workouts with ‘at home reformers’ and voila: hundreds of options. I place my Paeta Pilates reformer near the TV, find the workout I want to do, and enjoy. The workout routine is as simple as that. When I’m done, I remove the securing screws, fold, and haul away. Lastly, this is well worth your money. The only con is that videos refer to the level of tension by the color of the cords, but these are all yellow. Thus, I’ve learned to add or remove tension cords or springs accordingly.

Good machine for this price
Very good machine. Smooth movement and stable. Excellent resistance, the bands and springs allow a large range of adjustment. It is very heavy. The video instructions on how to fold up the machine make it look easy. And it would be if the machine was floating in the air like the video. The reason I didn’t give five stars is the shoulder pads are awful. They dig into your shoulders when doing leg work. I had to add “dogbone” pillows made for car head rests. Works but not pretty.

Not worth 300$
**update** They sent me a new rope which is great but it is a different length than the other rope. Also, ab exercises are impossible on this because it is too short. I'm not crazy tall or anything, I'm only 5'7" which is average in my country. Definitely do not get this if you're taller than that! I'm still thinking of returning it. 300$ is a lot for all of these issues and being unable to do a whole set of exercises.**So while 300$ is very cheap for a pilates reformer, it is still a lot of money for something that doesn't work! The reformer I received was put together poorly. It's grinds when it slides and little metal shavings come off it every time I use it. I can see on the bottom exactly what is scraping but it's not something I can fix myself as the tool required is unfamiliar to me. Despite the grinding and metal shavings, I wanted to be a good sport and give it a chance but after using it for 10 minutes the handle snapped off the rope!Disappointed ☹️

Absolutely worth it!
The media could not be loaded. I had my eye on this for weeks before finally deciding to give it a try. I use a Stott Pilates Reformer at work, so I’m quite familiar with how it functions. The delivery was prompt, and although the box had a slight dent in one corner, everything inside was intact. Setup took about 20 minutes from unboxing to full assembly. The cords and springs provide a great range of resistance, and the track glides smoothly. The foot bar adjusts effortlessly, and the foot platform slides in and out with ease. The shoulder rests feel a bit wide for me, but I plan to modify them for a better fit. The straps are well-designed with two grip areas and don’t slip from my hands or feet. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase—it’s perfect for my personal use! For reference, I’m 5’9”.

Too tall at 5’5
You get what you pay for. I’m too tall for this machine at 5’5 which feels absurd. The ropes are different lengths and it squeaks so loudly with every push. I’m pretty disappointed overall but I’m not sure what I expected for the price. I wouldn’t recommend.
