I was truly impressed with this chronometer automatic watch. The chronometer function is essentially a stopwatch, with the second hand running the time. The actual second hand is the subdial at the 9 o'clock position. Being an automatic, give it a good 14 to 15 winds and the watch will run all day. Give it a good 10 winds the next morning and you're good to go. The crystal is such that it rises up, giving a slight magnification to the dial. The watch band is sufficiently long for my 9 1/2 inch wrist. The watch itself is small, and the band is narrow and slides behind the back of the watch in one piece instead of two. The cream dial and olive green band compliment each other well. The combination makes this a perfect everyday watch for work or to wear in a casual setting. This 22-jewel chronometric movement is an excellent value on Amazon, selling for more on other sites.

Good quality at a good price. Mechanical and good. Prefer this size than the over sized watch nowadays. Surprisingly accurate. Would be nice if it comes with a leather watch band which i bought separately.

The media could not be loaded. Without question, this is a sharp watch, if only a replica of the official Seagull 1963. For the price point, it’s a huge value for a historic mechanical piece. Beautiful dial, applied markers, polished case and Swiss movement in the exhibition case-back. Seems to be keeping accurate time and the chronograph pushers are tactile and responsive. With the added strap and deployment clasp, it is exactly what I was looking for. Will update performance, after putting it to good use as my daily driver for timekeeping.

I've always been interested in watches with a historical connection and this 1963 37.5mm release from Tianjin Watch Factory certainly fits the bill. It is a stunning watch with a clean, functional dial layout and the exhibition back shows the beauty of the ST1901 movement. I was initially concerned about buying a watch this small, but due to the color choices of the hands and dial it is easily readable. I've had it for about a week now and and it keeps excellent time. Due to the 15.1mm thickness of the watch, I opted for a 2 piece strap rather than the NATO strap that comes with the watch. All in all, a great watch at a bargain price.

I got this for my birthday and like it on the canvas strap better than the leather one I bought afterwards. Looks too dainty.Great watch!

Initial thoughts: Received it 3 days ago. Bought the 37mm, 22 jewel, domed crystal model. Beautiful watch! Mine works perfectly. If want an unusual mechanical watch, I highly recommend this one.I'm a big guy, and I like smaller, vintage looking watches. Be aware that the 37mm is relatively small, and it has an 18mm strap which is very narrow. I like it. But if you prefer big watches, think about the 40 or 44mm 1963 models.I bought it with this Berfine strap. It's a really great leather strap for the price. Perfect value.
