Very nice!
Really easy to use, ink flows well, and nothing beats a gorgeous fountain pen.

Very nice pen
If you haven’t used the thing for a day, like from end of work one day to the start of the next, it can take a bit of pressure to get the ink flowing smoothly again.

Doesn't write
I've tried everything and this pen won't write. I tried ink cartridges. Nope. I tried an ink converter. Nope. I tried different types of paper in case it just didn't get along with that for some reason. Nope. I tried different brands of bottled ink in case that might be the problem. Nope. The ink just can't flow and behaves like a pen that has run out of ink (but there's definitely plenty because I just filled it!). Even pushing ink through until it drips from the nib doesn't help. This disheartens me because it feels good to hold and is attractive to look at, but that's all it's good for, apparently. This one will sadly go into the pen cup and never come out. Waste of money...

Scratchy
I really wanted to love this pen, it is beautiful, the maroon coloring and gold just looks so classy and it feels really good in the hand, but the writing experience is not overly fun. The ink flow on the bent nib is very enthusiastic and hard to control, which contrasts with the scratchy tip in a not very pleasant way. I was going to let it slide since I am not the biggest fan of bent nibs in general and probably wasn't going to use it. I was very excited for the fine nib but sadly it is very scratchy and the ink flow is pretty lackluster. I tried with the cartridges provided and my own ink using the converter (some diamine blue, didn't think to label the bottle other than that) and the results were not great. I really wish the nib was not so scratchy.

Great value for a first-time fountain pen.
It arrives in a pretty nice box and comes with TWO ink converters (one was installed in the pen) and eight cartridges. Lamy makes you buy converters. This is my first fountain pen experience so I don't really have anything to compare it to other than traditional writing implements. The all black finish feels fancy. The weight isn't as heavy as I would have thought. I've got a Rotring mechanical pencil that has more heft. The tri-grip is also a little small for my big man-hands, but not uncomfortably so. It doesn't feel like it's able to post the cap without it falling off so you miss out on the cap weight when writing.I haven't used the bent nib, but thought it was damaged on arrival before I double checked the listing. I hadn't even heard of something like that before. Once this first cartridge runs out I'll install the bent (or Fude) nib and check it out.I haven't had any issues with leakage or spillage while using the cartridge and I've bounced this thing around in my backpack and pockets quite a bit. It rides in my notecard holder. The ink dries in a few seconds on a standard 3x5 notecard so I've seen no smearing or feathering.I've seen some people say that there's more feedback from the nib than they'd like and I only experience that if I've rotated the barrel too much. I'm still learning to control my grip with this. It's not a name brand, but I'd be happy to receive this as a gift.

Vine Review
takes a bit before the ink flows but otherwise works decent for the price

Beautiful pen
I love fountain pens, and I owned one once and it broke after years of use, I guess I pressed down too hard one day and the tips bent, but also, it broke off where it screws into the base. I got this as a replacement because I love to write, and I love to write in my journal, as well as practice writing fancy letters or writing in Korean in block letters or calligraphy. Love the color of the pen, the feel, the look, the style. Absolutely great gift for people who like to write or write in calligraphy or even Egyptian Cuneiform

Beginner fountain pen
This pen included everything I need to get started. As a beginner, I think it's a great set up. Would like to have a bit more consistent ink flow, but that could be user error. The pen looks good and comes in a nice box. Will be impressive to bust this out when it's time to start signing paperwork.
