all of the posi units for the 10 bolt 8.5 inch and 8.6 inch have a 45mm bearing hub and come with the large race and bearing assembly witch will not fit the 8.5 inch housing however amazon sells the race and bearing assembly that will let it work lm102949 and lm102911 this is not for the 8.6 housing wish they would have put a note in the adds would have saved me a week of down time

2000 Silverado 5.3 4x4fits well, fits well on the 30 spline axles and fits well on the original sprocket that the old G80 had that self-destructed, all good, I recommend it.

This is a great insert, no noise, functions great, perfect fit. Say a great value for money!

The media could not be loaded. Pappy sez,It looks and feels like a good part.This type of limited slip has the clutch disks between the axle shaft side gears and the case.I have not had the oppurtunity to install this yet, and I won't go into weather or not it will fit into an older (pre '99) rear end if you use the old style bearings and upgrade your axles to 30 splines, but I will say I don't see anything wrong with this unit or that would keep me from using it.I approve of this GM 8.5 Posi diff and would recommend it.I hope my Video and Review were HeLpFuL to You.
