This is my third product from CPVan and I am extremely happy with the value of these items. I have the security alarm (oldest product, still working flawlessly), the security camera and now these smart smoke detectors.First impressions - the box contains everything you need to get started, including the alarms and instructions, plastic mounting brackets, screws for installation or 3M circular adhesive pads for installation. I haven't yet mounted these as I am living in a rental property and intend to use command strips for this purpose. Reading the manual the instructions were clear and it was reassuring to see the necessary EU and CE security markings for added peace of mind.Set up is extremely easy - they are paired straight out of the factory so you should just long press each smoke detector for 10 seconds to enable it. You can test them easily and if you want to add more detectors you can pair them easily by pressing four times rapidly on the device to pair and twice on the others. You can also quickly press twice to unpair. Really quick and easy, I think it took me around 5 minutes to get these set up and if you wanted to use the screws then it would take maybe 10 minutes.I tested these using a portable heater and my e-cigarette. It wasn't super easy to trigger using my e-cigarette which is a good sign for smoke/vapour in the house. The alarm sound is nice and loud, exactly what you would desire from a smoke detector. Really easy to operate and turn off the alarm if necessary too by just pressing the smart buttons on the device - they are "invisible" but really easy to find and press, which brings me to my next point - these are much sleeker and nicer looking than our current cheap smoke alarms!I have had a real pain with smoke detectors going off from cooking so I really look forward to how these can improve our lives. I rated the battery life 5 stars, obviously this isn't something I can test immediately however I am sure the products will last a long time. It was reassuring to see that the devices come with a 2 year warranty so if any issues whatsoever are encountered within this period then the devices would be immediately replaced. I have had experience with CPVan's customer service before, communication was very fast and no-quibble and a replacement would be sent out extremely quickly.All in all very happy with these smoke detectors.

Easy istallation and set up, once you understand the middle activation button is hidden on the alarms which is not clear on instructions. Had to watch you tube video to find out

It was so easy to install this smoke/heat alarm system into my flat. I just stuck them to the ceiling with the adhesive rings that came with the product, which were already electronically paired.

Purchased smoke and heat alarms 2022 when we moved. Installation was so easy, they were working great until few months ago when they started going off at random times and different rooms, then they all go off as they’re interlinked. So contacted the company for advice tried a few things but unfortunately they still went off without reason. Then the company send us a replacement. Extremely happy with it, would definitely recommend for anyone needing alarms and other products from them.

Arrived nicely packaged with everything needed in the box - smoke/heat detectors, screws & rawlplugs or sticky pads if needed.Easy to fit and a simple process to follow - I would suggest watching the video for the set up procedure - although my set were pre-paired and a quick test after fitting confirmed that for me.As far as these detectors go, these are reasonably pleasing to the eye.I am happy to recommend these but am unable to rate the battery life or the adhesive pads.

Definitely happy with these, they connected easily, I have 5 now to cover the house and garage
