I love this thing.Back story - I bought a cheap soldering iron and it destroyed everything I used it on. So I returned it and got this one.They actually thought through the design of this product unlike so many things now a days.- The stand works and is stable enough to hold the iron while you press a wire against it etc.- The little tip drawer is well made and spring loaded / locks in place well.- The tips fit in like a dermal tool tip almost - secure, and simple and all feels well made.- Battery life seems good so far ~ only used for a couple hours on and off- It gets really hot right at the tip and it does it fast. Able to heat a small pin and wire to soldering temp in a second or two and it is easy to get it where you want.- Feels nice, fits the hand well, button could be towards the back so you do not accidentally turn it off ( done that twice ) but I will adapt.- Has a ring light around the front to help see ( eyes are not what they were in my youth so this is good )If Apple made tools, they would probably be a lot like these.I got it for a good price.. I can not recall exactly at the moment, but maybe $50-$60 and it is worth every penny.I was not paid or given this product for review, nor asked for my review. That being said... If the company would like me to review other products, I would be more than happy to test them out :D.

I am not one to leave reviews in fact I can count on one finger how many I have left. I just want to say I refurbished retro gaming systems and fix them when I can and for some reason this product struck me as something I should buy and take a look at. With all the fancy and expensive solderimg stations that I have pirchased over the yrars this was the easiest to work with and cut my soldering time by at least 75%. Iron gets very hot very quick and eats 1.2 mm solder for breakfast. If you are in the market for an inexpensive and very quality product I can not recommend this product enough. I also wantes to say this is also the first time I have ever purchased or heard of Fanttik and would highly recommend this soldering iron. Thank you KC.

This is by all means a very good portable soldering iron but please remember this is low wattage and meant for small jobs, maybe small caps, resistors, wires, etc. Anything that draws a decent amount of heat from the tip this iron would not be able to keep up, because of the low wattage. Don't get me wrong, this has a lot of uses as is but even cell phones have relatively large ground plane.The upside is it's well made and portable, charge lasts a long time and the tips are so small you can get into tight spaces.The only downside for me is that I can't just throw this in a bag with the tip inserted, there's no cap to protect the power button and tip from damages and switching on, it looks like it's meant to stay in the stand, with the stand it really isn't portable anymore. Even though you have to long press for heat up it still could accidently switch on.So anyone interested in this please for your safety I personally emplore you, it may not happen but a large margin for accidents still exists for this thing to switch on when not transported properly, I would urge you to first remove the tip as that would take away this concern entirely....

Works great, I use it specifically for automotive wiring and I love it . Heats up very quickly , fits in tight spaces and feels good on the hand . Very small profile compared to other battery powered soldering irons . I like that it has other tips stored in the base incase you want to use this same iron to plastic weld or wood burn . Only gripe is that it struggles heating up thicker wires but that not really what it’s for . Would definitely recommend to any auto tech or anyone with soldering needs it

I really love this solder pen! Soon as I held the box and saw it i knew it was going to be awesome! Packaged very well. Nice and neat love that. Everything you need is in there but flux and solder! Tips are in the base in a little draw! So don't freak out! I don't feel scared to use this for to long of a period at a time. It heats up great so I an turn it off and on multiple times and not just sit there waiting forever! Get price for what you get. Very well constructed. Not heavy but sturdy feeling for sure. Tons of tip sponges. Plus plus.... a solder sucker and bunch of tips for that. Very strong solder sucker to! Love it! So get one build some stuff, lay some solder down on a pcb! Or get some practice boards and learn!

Works amazingly, Heats up scary fast, and is easy to use. Battery lasts for quite a while. Easy to swap out tips when needed.

Great product. Very nice soldering set. Iron heats up very fast! Convient stand and the best part is the cordless functionality. The temperature is adjustable for different needs.
