The internal rechargeable battery is only 2000mh, making it last only about 1hr when not plugged into AC power.2. 1-year warranty is good, but a 2 or 3 would be excellent.3. A cover for the microscope, even an inexpensive cloth one, would be a great addition.4. The cord for the AC adapter (USB-A plugs into it, the other end is USB-C which plugs into the microscope) needs to be longer.5. The base is metal as is the arm, but the microscope itself has both plastic and metal parts that feel like they aren't of the highest build-quality. Considering the under two hundred that I paid, I feel good about the purchase, but I wouldn't consider it professional quality for this reason.Overall, a very good digital microscope and perfect for helping me to enjoy my coin-collecting hobby with far less eye strain and giving me the ability to easily share what I find with fellow enthusiasts via photos and video. I highly recommend this product for its features and functionality. Time will tell if it's sturdy enough for daily use. I do hear its moving parts as it focuses, and the LCD screen is OK, but not top quality by any means. If it continues to work without issues for the next year, I will have gotten my money's worth out of it.I recommend the Elikliv Autofucus 4K Digital Microscope EM4K-AF to collectors who need a sharper focus on their collection.

Husband loves this. Has spent many happy hours reviewing every coin in his possession - and man, that’s a lot.Very easy to set up and use. The magnification allows extreme scrutiny of items. Adjustable brightness is very helpful for analyzing perceived surface imperfections.A great investment. Makes a terrific gift for coin collection enthusiasts or investment for coin dealers.

Great product and easy to use

I bought this for my classroom. It has been a big hit! The colors on the LED screen are more vivid and correct than what transfers to my 13 inch MacBook Pro but both screens together are definitely workable, especially when only focused on the details, which DO transfer as perfect clarity. The colors do not transfer well to the 80-inch classroom LED Screen (eye-popping orange poppies show as washed out yellow), but I'm working on fixing that. Maybe change the color settings on the screen. I have not tried to connect to the student Chromebooks yet, but I believe a software patch or IT permission would probably resolve connectivity issues. The idea that I can have micro images appear on larger screens is phenomenal! This has become an integral part of our science lessons and other peripheral subjects as well. I also like the idea of disconnecting it from its power source so I can use it to create a science center. I don't know how long a charge will last but I like the future with this, especially since I believe I will be able to plug it in to a power pack and truly take advantage of its portability option. Downside 1: It cannot be BOTH plugged in to the power source AND plugged in to the Mac. Downside 2, maybe lack of familiarity: I cannot get it to focus when the lens is very close to the subject. I'm used to a regular microscope, which often requires that the subject be less than 1mm away from the lens for maximum magnification. This seems to lose focus when the subject is around 2cm from the lens. I will figure that out, but this is definitely NOT a game changer! I have been very very happy with this!

Amazing detail.

Love this. Have yet to connect it to a tv.Display is real nice.The magnification is great for my application.The autofocus is good, it seeks both ways and heads back to a sharp image consistently, so it takes a little time, but its hands free!The long lens can be used to extend the effective height, which is useful for zooming out. You just clamp the support at the lower end of the lens. Nice feature.The remote is simple but effective.There’s lots of features I probably won’t use, freeze image, invert, b&w, split image etc as well as movie/image record.The menu system is pretty well organized once you get a handle on how to use the remote to navigate. It’s not as intuitive, using the right and left buttons to navigate up and down, but it’s not a show stopper.Overall I’m very impressed and glad I spent the extra bucks when I concluded my research.

The media could not be loaded. I picked this up for doing some soldering work on a few boards I have, ended up playing with it all night with my boys! We kept throwing stuff under it just to see what it looked like up close! The remote makes a world of difference with the zooming. When we were finally done playing, I was able to get to work and repair my boards. Picture quality is outstanding, this is my current favorite shop tool for the convenience it provides, no need to strain the eyes to see small objects. It’s rather lite for the size, bed plate is aluminum for those looking to use magnetic holders.

The media could not be loaded. So far, I’m satisfied with the product. Works great for soldering on boards out of focus is pretty good and has more than enough zoom capability. We’ll see how long it holds up though.
