great product - easy to use

I've heard a fair number of horror stories about laminators so I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this.But....it all seems good, mostly.Just turn it on, I used 'hot', pop whatever you want to laminate in s laminating sleeve of appropriate size, and feed the folded end into the laminator. It then takes over and pulls it through as it does it's thing.For laminating that's it, really simple, with a good result.The only bit supplied that I couldn't get to grips with was the cutter, which seemed to cut wherever it felt like. Not a problem as I have a 'real' one, which worked perfectly, and cut where I wanted it to.For the money, to have the facility to laminate the odd thing, this strikes me as a good deal, although of course if you want to laminate lots of things then it might be wise to invest a little more, for the odd thing, this is perfectly okay. Possibly even impressive given it's simplicity and the quality of the finished result.

This laminator has been a great addition to my home office. The quick warm-up time means I can start laminating almost immediately, and the hot and cold modes are versatile for different types of projects. The included laminating pouches, paper cutter, and corner rounder are useful extras that enhance the overall functionality. The ABS jam release feature works effectively, preventing any frustrating paper jams. It's easy to use, even for someone who isn't particularly tech-savvy. For home or small office use, this laminator is efficient and user-friendly.

This works a treat.the laminator is very portable, does need to be plugged in though just to flag. As it needs to heat up to use the pouches it comes with, (can also cold laminate apparently but can't test this yet). Heats up very quickly (changes from orange to green) then you can start and it's easy to use, just put your paper or poster into a hot laminating pouch, and feed it though the side with the arrow. It'll automatically start rolling the paper forward and laminating it. I got a relatively even laminated paper at the end as seen in the picture, very decent quality.What adds even more to the value is the cutter they give you for the laminated papers you make, one for cutting in straight lines and the other for creating rounded corners (for appearance and safety), overall a great package and for under 30 seems like great value. You get 10 A4 pouches, 10 A5 and 10 A6 pouches with it so can start laminating straight away.As a stationery nerd I appreciate that, just be careful not to let the pouches bend when not in use.

Looks good, a nice sleek design and compact. For hot laminating, it heated up quickly (took 1 min 25 seconds), with the red LED turning to green once ready. I tested it with the A5 laminating pouches as supplied, and also with my own, again A5 both with plain paper. Both sealed properly first time with the sealed edges clear and not clouded, but they were both crinkled (see my images), which is a shame. I tested an A4 sheet too, this came with the same crinkles. I then tested A5 using card, this resulted in a flat result, so I wonder if it too hot for just sheets of paper, which kind of defeats the object.I couldn’t test the cold laminating option as I don’t have any self-adhesive cold pouches to do this. The mini straight-edge cutter is a nice addition, and I particularly like the corner edge-rounding gadget, this is great. It will be interesting to see other reviews as they get posted to see if it is just me or a general problem for others. I can only give three stars for now.

This has proved to be useful for laminating A4 photos that I printed out to give to people. Comes with 30 pouches, so you don’t immediately need to buy more. For the price I think it is pretty good. Need to test your paper stock though, as with some types it will crinkle. The thicker it is, the better the result you tend to get in terms of flatness.

Good quality, well made, easy to use. Have had no problems. Quick to warm up. Very happy!!

Priced at £28 with a £5 voucher at time of review, this laminator comes fitted with a shortish mains leads plus there's some pouches, cutter and corner snip in the box.The pouches are supplied in A6, A5 and A4 sizes. If you need to laminate smaller items, best to laminate first and then cut to size and use the corner snipper to avoid sharp points.The laminator warms up pretty quickly and passing an item through takes a few seconds. Once heated the pouches are quite transparent. A4 pouches did curl every so slightly after going through the lamination but this didn't prevent them being pinned up.All in all, recommended
