These are nice and fun to throw. I wouldn't say they are for beginners as I'd recommend something much larger to learn with but they are small and easy to pocket and once you get the hang of the weight they can be a fun challenge to toss at a hunk of wood. I've been successful throwing no spin and half with them, either way they function pretty well. FYI these are dull edged, they just have a point for throwing. I've read some weird reviews where people don't seem to understand what they are buying.These have no blade.Just a point..That's the whole point...And nothing but the point.....
