Good for so many things!
I've had a soft spot for graph paper pads forever, because they're equally good for all things (drawing, writing, math, graphs, lists, etc.) but if you REALLY want a way to my heart with stationary, you'd best be picking up dot grid pads like this one! Each of the pads in this stack feature a supply of double-sided dot grid paper with grid "squares" a half a centimeter in size. The pads have the standard glued top edge and a perforated edge to make tearing off sheets easily, as well as chipboard backing. There is no front cover sheet to protect the top of the pad and the individual pads are much thinner than the standard ones you'll purchase at the store, being only thirty (30) sheets each. (From looking at elsewhere on Amazon, I'm seeing a lot of other 30-page pads, but that's definitely not the norm you'll see in a brick-and-mortar store.)The paper weight is that of standard typing paper, neither very heavy nor too thin. There's no bleed-through of ballpoint pen from one side to the other, but you can make out gel-pen from the opposite side. You could write on both sides with gel pen, it'd just be immediately apparent that there was something on the other side. I would -not- recommend using these with markers or paint pens! If you're going to do a lot of detailed work with pencils I'd recommend getting a sheet of cardstock to place under the page you're working with, just to keep from embossing the underlying pages.Luckily, despite the thinness of each pad, you get twelve whole pads in this set! That's more than enough to keep me in mischief for a while, for sure!

Paper is kinda thin
Paper overall is kinda thin. Binding holds tight. Paper tears well. Great basic notebook and love the grid dot pattern.

Use Your Imagination
I enjoy using multiple bullet journals with dotted pages. Finding dotted paper in pad form is great because I love clipboards and padfolios. The dotted pages are perfect for writing notes or, my personal favorite, doodling. You can also use these pads to play games whenever your little one needs to stay quiet or be distracted while waiting at the dentist. The paper quality is excellent, and it's easy to tear off a sheet from the pad without any issues.

amazing- so useful
If you like dot grid paper, these are perfect- I love how dot grid helps keep writing neat without cluttering up the page competing with writing and allows for different uses of paper space, meaning you can write tiny in some spaces and then write two or three line height letters in another and if you follow the grid placement, it all looks like it was freehanded and neat. I wish more paper came with dot grid pattern. The only drawback to these particular pads is that they don't have a ton of sheets each, and the paper itself is a very cool cold white as opposed to a warmer leaning white. But the paper is good quality, and the dots are well spaced (not scaled up, but actually printed properly) in a subtle gray ink.

Nice pads, as advertised, I used for sketching and and this old school game :)
The media could not be loaded. This was a bit of an impulse order. I saw it and thought, hey.. remember that old old game we used to play... let's get this and play some.I also use it for drawing, sketching, and floor planing.I took a quick video of the game, see if you like it. It can be played with 2 or more people.Based on number of players, you decide on the size of a rectangle. I picked a very small one to make this video short. Then take turns connecting two dots. The goal is to complete a box and get a point.Initially, the game is kinda slow as the grid gets filled up. People take different strategies: random placement of lines, making patterns, etc.But at some point, things start to go fast. One wrong move and your opponent might get a chance to rip through the board and make a ton of points.Watch the video if you like. Not a high tech game, but let's you sit close to a few people and have some close up competition. :)About the item:Paper quality is good, not thin, not thick. similar to your average printer paper.dots are gray. Which is good. Visible but not over powering of your pencil or marker.Price is ~~~ OK. I would have like to see these at maybe $2 each, but you decide how it compares to other pads.I gave it 4 stars. Took one off for the price. Functionality is exactly as the seller advertises.

These dot grid sheets are super handy for sketching ideas, graphs, and charts
I ordered these dot grid pads to help me when I am sketching ideas. They are also handy for meeting when I am brainstorming or trying to plot out a chart or graph. The paper is what you would expect; about like standard binder filler paper and that works fine. The sheets tear our from the pad without too much hassle, although you do still have to be careful not to tear the sheet if you want to keep it. The dots are printed well - clean and crisp. If you want paper that helps in meeting with sketches, graphs, and charts, then these pads would be a good choice. Five stars.

very nice dot paper pads
These pads are great for sketching out spaces I am planning for my garden and home renovations. I like the dot paper because it offers a good sense of space and dimensions for imagining the plans for organizing and making the best use of outdoor and indoor spaces.
