Very heavy, easy to set up, hard to break into
I'm not using this for a typical purpose. I have a child with autism who has an absolute fascination with anything locked and a special ability to pick locks. I've tried locking file cabinets, a lock on a cupboard in my bedroom, other lock boxes, but any locks with keys are quick work for this kiddo. They've also used whatever they can find to cut through thin metal like what the normal lock boxes are made of. I needed a place where I could lock a few things that would be a combination rather than a key and heavy duty enough that they couldn't cut through easily. This fits the bill.So far, this is the first lock box that I'm pretty confident will keep my kiddo safe and out of some prescriptions and a few other things. Be forewarned...it has less space inside than a similar sized box made of very thin metal. But if you're in my situation, you've found your box.Do be careful about setting and recording the combination so you don't lock yourself out permanently. I suggest watching a YouTube video...a lot of combination boxes work the same way. I also recorded the combination in my phone in my contact info for myself so I can always find it. Learned that one the hard way, lol.

NOT DIGITAL Holds a Glock 17 with extra clips securely. 3 digit code is not secure.
It squeezes a pistol nicely so it is secure, but not difficult to close. This will fulfill transport requirements in CA as I understand them (I am not a lawyer!). The only problem I have with it is a 3 digit code is far from secure. If someone has the time to try, it will take up to 1000 attempts to break it, probably less, how fast can you do that?I don't know why the title says "digital", maybe because it has digits? It's an analog combination lock, so...The cable lock is nice but easily snipped as it's pretty thin. The padlock is uses is pretty small, too, probably easily broken with a little leverage. It's a deterrent, for sure, but not secure.Overall I'd use this as a "locked" case, but not as a "secure" case.

Portable and secure
This is an excellent portable safe with thoughtful features. The combination is very easy to set, and takes seconds. It comes with a steel cable for traveling, so that the safe can be secured to a fixed object. It also comes with 2 pre-drilled holes in the bottom, and screws, in case you would like to semi-permanently mount this to furniture. I've opted to mount it and also attach the cable for a little extra security. The box itself is sturdy and seems to close pretty tightly. I can't say how much effort it would take to pry it open, but at least I can't do it by hand. The storage capacity is not huge, but could definitely fit a concealable weapon plus a few pocket valuables. You can remove the internal foam padding for some extra room, too.

Solid little box, good for light security against "sticky" fingers.
We picked this up for our daughter who is off at college and has a new roommate for the summer who she didn't know. She's turned out to be great, but it's still a good idea to keep important documents (passport, social security card) locked up in a dorm room. It's big enough to hold a typical handgun, and should provide enough security to use as a child-safe lockbox if one needed that. The foam would protect the gun reasonably well. Since she wasn't storing a handgun, we removed the foam to give some extra storage space. The cable wraps around her bedframe so nobody can walk off with her important documents. It's not "high" security, but enough that she's comfortable leaving those items in her dorm room.

Perfect gun safe
This is a great safe to store my pistols. It's made out of metal and has foam padding on the inside to protect my pistol from scratches. There is enough room to store two of them. The combination on the lock is easy to change just by moving a slider then change the combination to what I want then move the slider back into the lock position. It comes with a steel cable that I used to secure it to my bed frame. This is a great item to have.I give this five stars and two thumbs up.If anything should happen in the future I will update my review.

Portable, convenient, no batteries required
Compared to the bulkier, heavier safes that I've had this safe is the best. It's smaller in size, portable, durable, doesn't require batteries, protects and keeps my things safe. All I need is to remember my combination to open it. It's use is versatile in what I keep inside: spare keys, confidential documents and medications.# Ease of opening

Durable safe for small items
This portable lockbox feels like a sturdy personal safe. The case feels solid, and there's very little space between the top and bottom when closed. The corners might be the most susceptible to prying attacks. The case has internal flaps along the seams to prevent this, but the corners don't get the same internal protection. I haven't been able to pry the box open so that it could be a minor issue.Besides the less-protected corners, I can't find any flaws in this lockbox.

Heavy Duty Little Safe
Bought this little safe to hold valuables in hotel room. I loved that you can lock it to something so it can't just walk away. It was inexpensive so I was pleasantly surprised when I unboxed it. It is sturdy, heavy duty, and I am super impressed with the high quality. Excellent purchase. Thank you.
