Straight edges made easier
Great for higher ceilings which you need an extension to paint cut edges.

Inconsistent
I thought this would be perfect for making edging go faster while painting our interior. It snapped together easily and the swivel worked well to turn in differentdirections. I liked the fact that it had roller, but once put into use the roller were inconsistent. I would be rolling just fine refill add more paint then they didn't seem to roll. The painting also seemed inconsistent, could be user error, but some areas coated well some did not. Running out of paint on pad was not the issue as it would be in the middle of a run. It was also hard to determine the correct amount of paint to apply with out it becoming a drippy mess. The pad would look like it need more paint and the wall seemed to be not getting covered as well, so we would add more blot some and try again and have a drippy mess. Blotted more the next time and didn't seem to cover as well. Decided to go back to the old tried and true edging brush, to save the hassle.

Better Than Most Paint Edgers!
My husband and I are slowly painting the interior of our vacation/weekend cabin. Painting the walls with rollers hasn't been the problem. It is painting around the miles (not really, but it seems like it!) of door and floor trim. I think we have tried just about every type of edger on the market, including one very similar to this product. However, this GesenWen GRSL43 Paint Trimmer has a few "improved" features over similar products! Instead of an awkward knob to hold, the GesenWen has an actual handle. The threaded handle can also be used for a painting stick--we have not tried this. Holding a handle is more intuitive than a knob, so it makes paying attention to what you are painting much easier! As others have commented, there is an "art" to applying paint to the pad. With the "suspended in air" wheels, the wheels shouldn't come into contact with the paint if you gently set the pad on a flat pan of paint and pull up quickly. Remove any extra paint by scraping the pad across the edge of the paint pan. This process worked for us.This paint edger is a definite improvement over similar products. And it certainly beats taping around all of the trim to paint with a brush.

Handle easily comes loose
Handle is meant to pivot, but, as it twists, it loosens its connection to the base. Very frustrating.

Easy-to-use paint edger with adjustable handle for smooth results
This paint edger tool has been a real lifesaver for my recent DIY projects. It delivers a smooth, straight-edge finish, which is so much easier than using a roller and worrying about hitting the ceiling or trim. The adjustable handle is a fantastic feature. You can lock it in place for the perfect angle, making it super versatile for various painting tasks. It glides along smoothly and includes two replacement pads, which is a nice touch. There’s a bit of a learning curve, especially when it comes to applying just the right amount of paint, but once you get the hang of it, it feels completely natural. This tool is a must-have for anyone looking to achieve a professional finish without the hassle!

Great Edging Tool, But Practice Makes Perfect
The media could not be loaded. We decided to paint our bathroom with grey walls and white trim; unfortunately I am not an experienced painter and not as good at edging as I hoped, so I picked this up. What drew me to it was the guide wheel design which is better than others I have owned in he past. The tool has a pivotable handle that you can move how you want it and lock it down tight when needed. Once I learned how to load it with paint and ease it into my trim it worked like a charm. The “load-trim-repeat” cycle can be a bit tedious, since too much paint on this defeats its usefulness, but compared to doing the same job with a brush, this is a small price to pay in my book. The tool is about 4-1/2 by 3-1/2 inches which I feel is the right size for edging, but maybe not for open wall work. The wheels on this glide and guide better than on others I have used and I feel are what set this trim too apart from others. It also comes with two replacement pads. There are a couple of things to note however. The first is that if the surface you are running the wheels on is textured (like some ceilings) it just doesn’t work as well, at least in my hands. Another is that this is not ideal for corners, unless you have two different colors meeting there; there are better tools for corners. The final thing is both a plus and a minus. The handle has threads for using with a paint pole; however, in my hands I was not able to control it well enough for this to be of use. Granted, this could just be me; your milage may vary. This is a nice tool, and while it may seem a bit pricey, ask yourself what your time is worth. This will give you some of that precious commodity back. I do recommend you take your time and practice a bit; it will be worth it.

Sturdier than others, makes very neat edges
I could tell as soon as I unboxed this edger that it was much better made than others I have used. It is sturdier, but it moves much smoother during use, no sticking or slipping off the path because of the little wheels getting stuck full of paint. I am a total slob when painting, but this edger at least gave me clean, straight edges with no skips. It also seems to hold more paint on the pad, but that may just be that I am using a different brand of paint. The pad is definitely of better quality than my last one, it didn't leave little bits of "fluff" all over my walls. Very satisfactory product and one I am happy to recommend.
