I'm 70 and in great shape, but I take precautions. This ladder adds lots of safety features to my work. With this tool, I can have one hand on a rail while I paint, and can keep the paint can on a flat and STABLE surface: the top stair. This ladder is pretty heavy, which I actually love. It's not going anywhere, once I wheel it into place. Also, having FOUR feet on the floor instead of two, like a regular ladder, it's much less likely to tip over. It has wheels which make it possible for me to move it around AND those wheels do not touch the floor unless you've tilted it back and are actually moving it. So there are no wheels on the bottom! Safe safe safe! Well worth the price. I call it my old lady ladder. 😊

Sturdy enough - easy to install

After reading some of the negative reviews I was skeptical of this ladder. I was surprised at the sturdiness and quality of this product. The only negative issue I can report is that instructions should have been included instead of the wrenches that were supplied. I used my own tools and assembled it by looking at the finished product on my computer. Aside from that I was very satisfied with this unit after it was assembled. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a terrible product. Although the pieces seem to be well constructed, it arrived with scratches and holes in various parts, no instructions, and the number of bolts doesn’t match the number of nuts. Furthermore, the nuts that I did receive don’t fit the bolts. It looks like this was a returned product that they simply re-sold. Do not buy! I am outside of the return window, so I’m stuck with this very inferior product.

This stair is heavy and sturdy, but the casters (wheels) are not good quality and is the weakest link on this stair as they bend, break or fail and that will cause the whole stair to be unstable. I plan to replace the front two casters with better quality wheels/brakes.

After reading some of the reviews I hope all bolts & nuts are included. Several people dissatisfied.

The stairs themselves are sturdy and lightweight, but the assembly tools and bolts were so cheap that I ended up using my own. Two of the nuts were defective, making the process more difficult. However, once it was together, it works great and rolls around easily. Solid base, just needs better hardware. I’d recommend using your own tools and hardware

I was excited to get this for our home, however I was greatly dismayed when I couldn't find the instructions anywhere in the package.I eventually figured out on my own which screws to put where, but for the cost of this item, I would expect instructions since there's a lot of assembly involved. Feel wise, this set of stairs wobbles just a little when I'm on it.Speaking of assembly, the wrenches provided are awful. You're better using your own tools - it'll likely go faster too.Lastly, there are no extra parts provided at all. So put this together where if you drop a nut, you can get it or find it.Overall, -1 star for no instructions and no spare parts. Most of everything I order that requires assembly comes with the courtesy of an extra screw/nuts.
