good quality for replacing older lan cable
i recently upgraded my home from a standard router to a wifi mesh router and i figured it wouldnt hurt to update the cable running to that newer router and i didnt notice any increase in speeds or nothing that stands out but i figure it doesnt hurt to update it all so you can get close to the speeds you pay for

It's 25ft of CAT6! It's blue!
I needed an Ethernet cable, we've all been there. This one was an appropriate length and I don't mind the color for my application. If you're shopping for an Ethernet cable, I'd suggest you consider these same factors.Once we've established that this will reach the correct distance, and not cause someone in your household to react poorly to the blue spaghetti running across the upstairs hallway, we move on to the price consideration. Is this cable reasonably priced or less expensive that your other available options? If it is, I'd say just go for it. Time is money after all, and the more time you spend comparing budget, barely insulated, potentially disposable cables the less time you have for your friends and family. Or maybe you could just step outside for a few minutes and get some fresh air. Take a deep breath and feel the tension and stress and isolation begin to slip away as you exhale. Wave at your neighbor. He's not so bad. There we are, doesn't that feel better? 👍

Works as expected.
There's really not much to talk about when it comes to cat 6 cable. It either works or it doesn't. In this case it works exactly as expected. My Internet is much faster now than I have a hard wired connection. I have no complaints.

good value, no-frills
I am reviewing the product "AvesView CAT6 Ethernet Cable (UTP) Snagless 10Gbps Long High-Speed Network Cable" on 3 May, 2024.CAT6 Ethernet cables such as this model are the unsung backbone of our modern digital world. While Wifi may get all the splashy promotion and press, it's the humble "8 twisted pairs in a jacket terminating in 8P8C modular connectors" that is truly the backbone of robust and reliable network infrastructures. The typical IT professional or SoHo office manager will have tens of them close at hand ready to be rapidly deployed. As a commodity item -- albeit an essential IT supply -- it's challenging to find differences between various models. If they're conformant to the standard, they're generally reliable. If not, they fall short; the sample I received met all the criteria of the standard and performed as expected with no glitches or gotchas. I did appreciate the AvesView model's snagless design. Just as a smoothly operating zipper can add a touch of pleasure to the experience of wearing a jacket, the snagless feature gave me a bit more reassurance that the cable I deployed would provide reliable service for many yearsSo: it works, it's a good useful length, and is a good value, no-frills bundimal of an essential IT supply.

Good For Those Medium Length In-Room Runs, Flexible, Works Well, Good Value
At this point CAT-6 Ethernet cables are pretty much a commodity. They are also something that tends to either work or not. This cable worked just fine for me in my in-the-room wiring needs and I feel it’s a fine cable for my application. I’m not using on 10Gbs ports so I didn’t try that capability. Just boring 1Gbps Ethernet ports. At just (as of this review) $9.99 I think it’s also a good value. The cable is average thickness and I thought a little supple than my other CAT6 cables which helps running cables around corners and “stuff” under or behind desks. Another thing I like is the anti-snag flap. I like this style with the U shaped loop. In some tight spaces it lets me get a tiny screwdriver into the center hole release the lock tab. This cable should do a great job connecting my central switch to the multifunction printer that is halfway around the room. For being the right cable that is a good value gives this one 5 stars in my opinion.Hope this is helpful.

Good cable, a little thinner than I was expecting
The first thing I noticed about this cable is that it isn't as thick as what I'm used to. However, that doesn't seem to hinder it as far as I can tell. Tested against a 25-foot Ethernet cable I already had, I noticed no significant difference in speed of copying files. Granted, I don't have any fancy scientific test kits to use, but I do have 2 computers with 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet unmanaged switch, and Google Fiber jack with 2.5 Gigabit service. Copying 5 small files and 2 large files was timed using my original cables and my phone with a stopwatch app. Then replacing the cable from the switch to my computer, I repeated the test and came up with a time that was similar enough to have been well within my reaction time, or within human error as they say. I realize that the files still had to travel through one of the original cables in this test, and that the Ethernet switch itself may limit these speeds, but I wasn't looking for improvements, I was simply looking for nothing worse than I was already used to. This cable looks like it does the trick just fine. It seems to be good quality and a bit more flexible than I'm used to. Heck, even the anti-snag things that cover the tabs were easy to work with, so I'm going to recommend it.
