This is a really nice solid set of hardware that includes a biometric lock.This installs like standard hardware you just need to program the lock when you are done.Follow the instructions and install the hardware. You will then need to follow instructions very carefully to get the app on your phone and pair it with the lock. You can then begin to program the lock my fingerprints and codes.I was a little intimidated at first but this is pretty straightforward.

This seriously only took about 20 minutes to install. My door already had the holes so I was just replacing hardware. The best thing about this one is that the post that goes into the door at the bottom MOVES vertically. Why does this matter? I have a huge hole in my door because I installed one that was stationary and I needed to re-drill a hole in the door because it was too long to fit in the original hole. Luckily, I was able to slide the post to the top to use the original hole and the plate is big enough to cover the big hole. I love the square look and the handle slides open easily. The deadbolt is strong and slides smoothly.I have to admit, the app looks a little suspect. But once I got into it, it is very user friendly. And it was pretty easy to set up and navigate. That is really nice since I have small kids and they are always accidentally telling someone their code! And there are a ton of options for passcodes: timed, permanent, temporary and you can make them between 4 - 9 numbers long.It came with smart keys that look like badges to me and were easy to program and it also came with plain old normal keys. The fingerprint recognition is pretty touchy. You have to get it on the sensor EXACTLY the way you set it up and there is no wiggle room. And it will lock itself for 5 minutes with too many unsuccessful tries. So be sure to hide a key or set a code. You can also unlock it from the app if you are the administrator.
