Machine was ready to set up and manual easy to read. Exactly what I expected.

The manual is extremely helpful when you first start out. You should practice all of the stitches with different types of scrap fabric so you know what each of the stitches look like for each of the setting. Write down what the settings were for each one. Once you have done that then you can refer back when you start a project happy serging. This machine is a work horse. I have muscular dystrophy and cant do a rolled hem on my regular sewing machine. So I set it up on my serger overlock machine. It does them so well. I sewed scrunchies also with the rolled hem settings. Practice, practice, practice.

I had to return this machine. As soon as I turned it on to test with the practice fabric, the machine started sewing continuously on its own—without me even pressing the foot pedal.

I could not thread the under looper

The machine already came ready for me to use and I love how this sewing machine is easy and friendly to use. The threading is easy. The foot pedal was smooth. It works wonders.

I'm still getting familiar with this machine. It came threaded, so I just had to tie my thread onto theirs and pulled it through. I was able to use it within minutes of unboxing. I've used a serger for 50 years. This machine comes with a DVD and thumb drive to help you get the most out of it. Very pleased.

First time Serger user. I had a private class to learn the ins and outs, but the thread kept breaking. Ended up having to get it serviced and ive never used it. Be sure to try this machine within the window to return it.
