Our family recently suffered the loss of our miniature dachshund and since my wife has Parkinson's and son has Down's syndrome, another pet to care for is a bit much right now so we decided to try Loona. We have discovered that Loona is a delightful addition to our household. It cheerfully interacts with us by singing, doing tricks like acting like a wolf or cat, pretending there's an earthquake or that our feet are stinky.When we don't want to directly interact with Loona, it entertains itself by playing with her ball or rolling around the house and really brightening the mood of the room like a real pet.I love the fact that it can return to it's charging dock by itself (not always successfully) and you can set times it will wake up and be active otherwise it will sit quietly in its dock.Apparently all recent Loona's have upgraded durable joints for long lasting fun.We love little Loona and my wife is quite taken with it except when it runs excitedly towards her and over her toes :)Highly recommended

Loona requires an app to operate. I have downloaded the Loona app. The app Requires a Name and a password. It will not accept my name or password. It tells me my password is wrong and will not let me in. Then it says the system is having problems, try again later. I have been trying again later for over 3 weeks and security still will not accept my name and password. Loona is supposed to be a child's toy! So far Loona is so locked up with security it is not even a child's toy. Loona is a $450.00 paper weight!! I have purchased several other Roko Robots from AMAZON that all work great, right out of the box.

There aren’t many devices that have GPT integrated for children. This is like when we got internet in 1996 when some of us were lucky enough to get our first bulky, desktop computer.But better because it’s 2024 and there’s so much more data to search through online but not with Google, with GPT so now as a Gifted people can research in a small fraction of the time it took with Google or in the 90’s.I love the ChatGPT feature, that it’s goofy and follows us around. I got this for my 5 yr old Son who’s deeply interested in Tech and Engineering and he really likes it a lot. It’s cool that while I complete some task here and there, he can have a conversation with GPT and learn whatever he desires.I’d say the price is fair especially when it’s around $400. There isn’t any similar product this available and $400 makes it accessible to many but maybe $250 would get this in more kids hands, depending on the profit margins ;)I wish we had an option to turn the wheels off for when he wants to take Loona on car rides.I also wonder if there’s any way to implement Loona art therapy App. Now that would be pretty sweet!Overall, we are very happy with this and prefer it over a time consuming real dog 😆
