I bought these to store my winter garments and am pleasantly surprised at how much they will fit and how small they get. In one I packed 2 carhartt jackets with 2 carhartt vests, a carhartt hoodie and a lined flannel. I used my vacuum to suck out most of the air quickly and then moved to the included pump to get the last lil bit out. As you can see they got pretty thin. In the second bag I have a large parka, two scarves, insulated carhartt overalls, a wool shirt jac, puffer jacket and hoodie. This deff got smaller since it was more insulated garments. I do have a few bags left over now. Time will tell if the closure and valves hold up but I’m pretty confident my garments will be protected in storage

Serves the purpose. The only reason I'm knocking off a star is that the pump doesnt move much air. It takes a LOT of pumping to get these vacuum bags down tight. I recommend getting one with an auto pump next time!

Review part 2 - still Iove these bags!!! Tried them on some more fluffy winter blankets - success!!! These were two very fluffy blankets that would have normally taken up a lot of space that I don’t have. I reduced them to less than half the size. They are very strong bags and I have taken them plus the plump - which is very small - on trips and have been able to reduce my baggage size on airlines.

Reduce space needed. Now we can reduce what we put into a large suitcase into a medium. The weight is about the same but it is easier to manage in cabs, busses, cars, trains or along sidewalks. We additionally purchased a USB-C vacuum pump to take in the suitcase. If you can recharge your tele or tablet you can recharge the vacuum anywhere in the World. Smaller bags are handy for sorting and finding items. Placing folded items in bags and into the space in a suitcase and then vacuuming the bag helps them fit. Price wise it saves for itself if you can use less suitcases. They also work for keeping clothes dry, and for storing items at home.

Ordered the Jumbo and was happy with the size. I had to use a vacuum tube to fully deflate, the hand pump just didn’t work. Was still happy with the result BUT all of the bags lost the vacuum seal within a month. Was a bit disappointed as I used them as a storage space saving option. They work for a bit so I just keep vacuuming the air out, but disappointed it doesn’t last.

Thought these were good and packed some blankets and sheets in them and proceeded to put them in my trunk. As they were vacuumed sealed and closed they seemed to be working fine. THEN as I was arranging them in my trunk I thought I heard some slow leak of air. Of course the very bottom bag was hissing at me! It had a RIP in them on the side and was slowly leaking air. I had to run and get some packaging tape to cover the hole and suck it out again. I had just situated that one back down into the trunk again when I heard hissing again!! This time it was the third bag up and the same situation only on a different bag!These were not overstuffed, they are jumbo sized and should have been able to hold a blanket and one sheet set! Ridiculous!! If I hadn't already had multiple items in all the bags I would have sent them back for a full refund. Yet I won't be surprised if when I open them back up in a month or so that they all are "decompressed" with how those other bags were!These don't seem like long lasting quality so I would definitely look elsewhere for a stronger product.
