I love this beautiful handmade macrame wall hanging, which I can't imagine making myself. I think that's just out of the question for me, but this one is beautiful. You could hang this almost anywhere, but I think it looks best hanging over a bed or a couch, since it's 43" wide and is quite a showpiece.I'm going to hang this over the bed in my guest room just as soon as I get everything cleared out of there. I have half the things cleared out of there, with the help of a good friend, but the other half are going to have to go to the storage building as soon as I find someone to take them. This macrame wall hanging, however, is going nowhere. This comes with three pieces of spliced wooden dowel, which are easily connected with the screws inserted in the wood to become one large macrame piece. If I did it, anyone can do it.I don't remember the original Boho days because I hadn't been born yet, but I remember the hippies used a lot of macrame in the late 1960s. I've always wanted a beautiful macrame piece like this, and now I have one.If you need something new or beautiful or different hanging on your walls, I highly recommend this. It's simple, gorgeous, and knowing it's handmade makes it even more special. This is a gorgeous macrame hanging that I may just put above our bed.
