Finally, a Power Monitor That Gets It Right!
This product is exceptional. The measurement hardware is impressively accurate, providing current and voltage readings within 1.5% of a high-end HP digital meter. The online documentation offers a detailed MQTT YAML configuration, making integration with Home Assistant or custom Python code effortless. This is a huge improvement over other products that require screen scraping through dynamic HTML and JavaScript to reverse-engineer and extract JSON data. The iOS app is robust, allowing you to custom label all 16 monitored circuits and track the load balance across three mains (for our 3-phase setup). It also supports local generation (solar/wind), offering flexible Breaker-Side and Line-Side configuration options. The app includes a cost estimation feature, allowing you to calculate electricity costs with a simple rate (cents/kWh). However, it could be enhanced for regions with more complex billing structures, like ours, which include peak, near-peak, off-peak, and tiered rates.Thoughtfully designed notifications allow you to set alerts for individual breakers based on consumption thresholds. You can even specify a time window before receiving the notification—perfect for short-term usage like a hair dryer or longer durations like a coffee maker or water pump that stays on too long. The app generates detailed usage graphs on a minute, hour, day, week, month, and year basis for each of the 16 circuits, making it easy to track trends. At its current price, this system is more affordable than its competitors. It’s accurate, has a comprehensive app, integrates smoothly with larger home systems, and comes with excellent tech support (typically responded to within hours).Highly recommended—grab one today!

Works fabulously with Home Assistant
Unit is compact and sensor clamps are also small. Had no issue in getting this into my full 200A panel box. Packaging was well done and everything was secure. Installing this into a breaker panel can be intimidating for many, but it is quite easy. Support on the product is also very quick and efficient. I was able to setup in Home Assistant quickly and easily. It is reporting to my own MQTT. Would be amazing if an addon or HACS module was made for it. There are some values for correcting my 220v circuits in the config yaml I am getting assistance on. I will post back once I have assurance I am doing correctly. The support has been quite quick to respond to my initial inquiry. Overall I am VERY HAPPY with my purchase.Unit comes with all pieces necessary to install. Extra wire and wire nuts in case needed for unit power, antenna extension cable, rubber plugs for any unused ports.Only thing I was concerned was if the main clamps were going to be able to reach as I had to put the unit at the very top and my feed comes from the bottom. There was enough length to adequately route neatly and have minimal slack. I forgot to take pics, may update in near future. In doing this I also realized I have circuits over 50 amp and also a subpanel of 90. I will be purchasing a second unit for my subpanel.*UpdateUnit is working flawlessly in homeassistant. Was going to build myself, but this proved to be an excellent value with none of the diy work. I will note that for US Buyers on 110v circuits monitoring a double 220v breaker, a modification to the configuration.yaml circuit will need to be adjusted. The sample config as described in the manual works very well, but is setup for observing only 1 leg. To adjust for 2 legs you will need to multiply the multiplier for voltage, active power, energy in and energy out by 2. ex if it is .1 then .2 if .01 then .02. Example provided by the very quick and very responsive support I have included. Hopefully they will also update their manual.I will be purchasing a 2nd unit for my subpanel in the near future. Thank you for an excellent product.

Really Awesome for Smart Home Nerds
I have to say, I was skeptical that this cheaper setup would work well. But after installation and setup, I'm very pleased.I have it connected to my MQTT broker, and supplying Home Assistant with data directly. I also verified that it's no longer sending the data to the cloud at all. Which means that their app can simply be deleted after install (which they do instruct).Measurements seem very accurate and installation was pretty straight forward. I wish the little clips were a little smaller but I was able to make them fit.I already found multiple old non-LED light bulbs lurking in my building, so this thing will pay for itself.I do have some recommendations for the YAML configuration they provide. Add a unique_id key so that you can configure the entities in home assistant, without it, you cannot. Also add round(1) because the numbers sometimes are like 122.0000000000021, and no one wants that. Here is an example:- name: "dining room voltage"state_topic: "SEMMETER/YOURMAC/HA"value_template: "{{ value_json.sense[15][0] | float | multiply(0.1) | round(1) }}"unit_of_measurement: "V"icon: "mdi:flash"unique_id: "16_voltage_sensor"

Must have to save money on your power bill.
I've been using this to monitor my new house. It works well it has went offline a couple of times for a few hours. Other than that it is very accurate comparing to the power company. This has really let me know what is using the most power. I have been playing with lowering the electric bill this is a must for someone being energy conscious. It takes up allt of space in a breaker box but with a little wire management it works out

Great deal on a great home energy montioring system.
Great value for a 16 channel circuit monitor. I love that the company works both to provide a complete product with app, as well as instructions and engineering to ensure more advanced technical users can integrate it into their homelab setup. The kit is just as solid as the Emporia Vue 2 for a significantly cheaper price.
