Very well made and very accurate scanning of both bar codes and QR codes.

Easy set up although comes with several barcodes and not a lot of instructions.,

Good packaging, sturdy box with bubble wrap envelope. Nothing loose. It’s comfortable to hold in my small hands and easy to carry in a pocket. Once charged it holds power for quite a long time, probably at least 2 days if you use it constantly, or several days if you use it occasionally.I got this scanner because I have an extensive personal collection of books (3,000+) and I use a software program to maintain an inventory. For about 10 years, I used an Opticon OPN-2004 pocket scanner, which was extremely simple to use. I lost the Opticon, so I tried this NetumScan because it seemed to have the most similar features. It does have all the features of the OPN-2004, but it has WAY more capabilities than I imagined!It’s nice to get more than you were expecting, but the instructions for the scanner are very skimpy. It was nowhere near “plug-and-play” for me!Collecting the scans wasn’t much of a problem. Figuring out how to get the scans from the scanner to my software program took me a frustratingly long time.This is a great scanner if you know exactly what you have to do to get your computer system to recognize the device and connect with your program.If your only experience with scanners is scanning your groceries, make sure that you read up on ”CCD” and “wedge scanners” and how to set them up with your system and your software. The instructions provided assume that you already know all of that!I think this is still a great scanner. If it came with full instructions on the history and use and physics of bar code scanners, it would probably cost twice as much!

Works out of the box in seconds, easy to switch it to specialized settings by (surprise) scanning a QR code to change its parameters. Scans go into memory so you can dump them later, it's lightweight and ridiculously easy to use. Recommended for sure!

I'm still currently testing. This initial was removed from my review list for no longer being available & then it showed back on my list to review. Because of that, I'm giving it 3 Stars. I need to do future testing & see how well they hold up. I've been using this for inventory checks and I absolutely love it. The Battery lasts SUPER long. It doesn't feel very durable but it has been dropped onto concrete many times with zero issues. The ability to recharge with USB-C is convenient. I generally don't stray too far from my laptop when using it but I've had zero range issues. It's compact size is handy for scanning barcodes in display cases. Absolute 10/10

This is a decent barcode scanner. It’s small, and both scanning and transmission are pretty fast — especially when the USB dongle is used for transmission.In testing the scanner, I was able to scan most standard 1D and 2D barcodes, though there were a few that didn’t work, including microQR codes and stacked 1D barcodes.Unfortunately, when scanning longer codes, especially long PDF417 codes, the scanner frequently produced different result for the same code. Sometimes certain characters were missing. Other times they were replaced with other characters. The problem occurred with both the USB dongle and Bluetooth. An additional problem that occurred with long barcodes, but only over Bluetooth, is that the terminating linefeed was often left out of the transmission.Overall, this is a decent barcode scanner for users working with simple barcodes, but those who need accurate reading of long barcodes should look elsewhere.

This was fairly easy to setup and start using. It’s light enough to carry in a pocket but feels sturdy enough to not worry about it breaking. Useful for scanning inventory for my small business.
