Good Camera, But Picture Quality Needs Improvement
I purchased the SVPRO 1080P USB Camera for recording my golf swing, and while it works decently, there are a few issues worth mentioning. The camera offers impressive zoom functionality, with a 10X optical zoom and manual focus, which is great for getting detailed shots. However, even at its farthest zoom, the image is very zoomed in, which makes it difficult to capture wider scenes or adjust the framing effectively. The biggest downside for me, though, is the picture quality. Even in well-lit environments, the image can appear noisy and darker than expected. This is a bit disappointing for a camera that promises 1080P resolution. I had hoped for a sharper, clearer picture, especially for the price.Despite these issues, the camera does its job for basic uses like recording a golf swing or streaming in controlled conditions. If you're looking for something with great image quality in various lighting conditions, this may not be the best option, but it still offers decent value for certain applications.

NIce
At first I was confused how to use this camera, and I am not very tech savvy, but it took me less than 10 minutes to connect it to my laptop and adjust zoom and focus, and figure them out. I did not need a screwdriver to adjust the lenses, just a little pressure :) Even though there is not much explanation provided on how to use this camera, it is pretty self explanatory. Now about the camera itself. The picture quality is very good. It connected to my laptop camera without any extra effort. I will probably need to find a tripod for it, but otherwise it will work nicely for my business to make high quality pictures of my products. I am not tech savvy as I said, so maybe I do not understand just yet everything that this camera has to offer, but I'm pretty happy with it for my needs :).

Good high-speed camera, slightly expensive
Solidly-built camera with decent varifocal lens that supports manual focus, aperture, and zoom controls. It is bet fit for industrial applications or large CNC/Laser cutter setups. I will use it for a DIY Lightburn setup. The product listing claims that the camera comes with OV4689 sensor. That is likely incorrect. OV4689 is a 4MP sensor (2688 x 1520) that supports 90Hz capture at full resolution (120fps at 1080p). This camera is 2MP camera with the highest resolution of 1920x1080 at 60Hz.Note that you cannot capture 120/260fps on Windows using standard tools, you need to install AmCap or similar software capable of doing it.

Great for electronics 'microscope', good optical quality
I think the lens is the real star here! A very nice piece of glass. The sensor is pretty good, great for high frame rates. It defaults to a low resolution high frame rate capture mode. I was able to open a live view on my Mac using Photobooth, but I had more control using mpv on my linux machine:mpv -vo=gpu --demuxer-lavf-o=video_size=1920x1080 av://v4l2:/dev/video0That gets you the highest resolution feed (don't use -vo=gpu if you don't have a gpu)

Decent camera
I am using this camera as an overhead camera to record electronic repair jobs. Setup was pretty straightforward. I was able to identify it quickly in my recording software. Picture quality is sharp and clear. Small adjustments to the lens aloud for this. Overall it is a reliable and quality budget friendly camera.

Well-made and solid slow-motion camera
This is a small form-factor slow-motion camera. It has a standard screw mount underneath for a tripod. The device itself feels solid and well-made. There are three control rings on the front --- one for zoom, one for what appears to be f-stop (open-closed), and one for focus. The zoom and focus rings have locking screws which must be loosened before those rings will be turned.I had no problem getting the 260fps mode to work on linux, using v42l and ffmpeg. To do so, I used the following commands:1. v4l2-ctl --list-devices (told me that it was on /dev/video0)2. ffmpeg -f v4l2 -r 260 -video_size 640x360 -input_format mjpeg -i /dev/video0 -c copy foo.mkv3. ffmpeg -i foo.mkv -r 60 -filter:v "setpts=4.0*PTS" foo_slow.mkv4. ffplay foo_slow.mkvffprobe shows that foo.mkv is at 260 fps and foo_slow.mkv is at 60 fps with a little over 4x the duration --- meaning that we're probably slowing down the right way, by preserving frames and changing what we call the speed.Bear in mind that (1) (as they mention) the 260fps rate only is available at 640x360 and (2) at 260fps (and probably even 120fps), things like LED bulb flicker in the background (since most LED bulbs use PWM) may become noticeable as an overall flickering of the background light.I found that the optical quality was good. This is a fun, inexpensive, and well-made camera for slow-mo projects like filming water falling, etc. I recommend it.

Not what you're thinking. . .
This camera is fun to look at, but it's not what you're probably thinking if you thought like I did. For example, I thought instructions would be included. There were none. I thought that this camera had a microphone included, which would make it appropriate for video conferences, such as via zoom - but my system (windows 11 and the computer was customized built 2 months ago, so it is definitely not my system). I also thought that if the screws to make an adjustment need a screwdriver (they do) that one would be provided, but it wasn't. So the only thing I could really do is make it go completely dark or blurry. Yay! If you want to do artsy things, like stop animation - this is a great camera to do so. If you want a normal webcam for video calls and need a microphone, this isn't it. I made so many settings changes and at the end of the day, my system just never found it. On top of that, the image is grainy unless you douse yourself in ambient (direct to the face) light, ie. ring light. And if the light is insufficient you will have rolling screen lines. I have a webcam, so I know that's not normal and it doesn't cost nearly as much.
