Great fun with a working steam engine.
The media could not be loaded. This is a great working steam engine. There is alot of assembly required. Many very small nuts and screws. The kit has no exteas. Assemble in a jelly roll cookie sheet to catch dropped nurs and screws. The piston would not move freely for me at first. I pushed the post over to the side and found that was the problem. I used a big wrench to bend the plate. Then it worked great. There is one screw on the bottom of the centrifugal throttle that has to be taken off and reassembled putting back a spring and thumb nut. That thumb nut is to adjust the speed. This was the hardest part. In California the only place I found pure denatured alcohol was West Marine and it was labeled not for sale in California. You need a plyers to turn hot parts like the whistle. Up on access off. The water fill hole is tiny. I am getting a syringe to fill the boiler. Fill the boiler only half full. Watch the water level. Don't run dry. It takes awhile to build a head of steam. There is no manufacturer contact information. You are on your own. I had great fun!

Read before you buy ! :) tips and tricks
Requires a little bit of work to get it running but once you get it dialed in runs like a charm.Few tips to help you get it running.• Steam pressure and total volume of steam is based on total boiler water volume. Less water=faster steam production. Reduce water in the tank if you have trouble starting.• Blow off valve can be tightened to increase boiler pressure. It’s on the fill port. Do this at your own risk as if you block it from blowing off it’s blowing up from over pressure.• The thumb screw at the base of the piston is there to help preheat the lines And drain water from the piston base. If it’s cold it has a hard time turning over.• once you get it running dial down the throttle it will increase pressure and help give you more storage of steam thus more pressure. Run her wide open during preheat.• Resistance is futile! If your piston is binding you’re wasting steam. Dial it in make sure it runs smooth. Any binding will stop it from working.• Run it off load while getting it sorted then when you get it working then add the generator to itHope this helps !

The kids had a blast!
The media could not be loaded. We purchased these for my 14 & 16 yr old nephews as Christmas presents. They had them together in about an hour and could not wait to send me pictures and videos. They are pretty awesome.
