A small fire pit perfect for a small gathering
This is my review and experience of the FANHAO 7 Inch Tabletop Fire Pit with Stand, Stainless Steel Smokeless Fire Pit with Removable Ash Pan, Portable Mini Outdoor Fire Pit for Camping & Patio -Wood or Pellet Fueled Portable Bonfire. What I liked about it...Burns cleanly, barely any smoke at startVariety of fuels that can be used from pellets, cubes and woodLightweight, less than 3 poundsLove the nylon carrying bag (make sure it has cooled off)PortabilityOne year guaranteeAsh pan is removeable for easy cleanup of residueWhat I did not like about it...Not much at all to dislikeConclusion....I've ignited the fire pit with the sticks my dog collects from our walks, putting them to good use instead of discarding them. Now, I encourage her to bring home sticks from the park, and I join in the collection. The fire pit is perfectly sized for intimate gatherings, but for larger groups, an additional pit may be necessary as the warmth from this small one may not suffice. Although the price of $49.90 is somewhat steep, the quality justifies the cost.

A nice little firepit to enjoy without coming in and smelling like a campfire.

Definitely not Smokeless
I really like this fire pit, but it is definitely not smokeless! I used regular fuel pellets and there was so much smoke, the neighbors came running to see if my teenagers had set the back porch on fire. The compact size is wonderful. You can have a cozy little fire, but without having to wait up all night for it to go out. It is perfect for roasting a few marshmallows on a crisp fall evening but still being in bed at a reasonable hour.

Excellent, small fire pit that works great and burns wood fully to ashes Couldn't scratch the paint!
The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent, lightweight and portable little fire pit that's perfect for burning a log or mini-logs, and is easy to clean out afterwards thanks to the removable ash pan.It can fully burn wood to ash thanks to its well-designed air intake holes on the bottom, and it's well made and well designed overall, very suitable for small gatherings or even cooking marshmallows, hotdogs, and the like over a fire. I also checked to see whether I could damage the paint with a sharp stick while wood was burning, and the paint didn't even get a scratch on it.The only downside to this is the legs. They aren't fragile and they don't wobble, but the hinge mechanism is quite basic, and it only makes the fire pit about an inch shorter when they're folded. So they do make me question why they're foldable in the first place. The steel for this fire pit is very solid and sturdy, and it looks like all the welds are solid; I couldn't find anywhere that looked questionable or problematic. It's made of stainless steel which means it's rust resistant, but as with any solid steel it's still best to not get it wet any more than you have to. Burning some logs to ashes inside the pit didn't make any visible difference to the pit, and it looks exactly the same now as when I received it so I'm confident I can keep using this fire pit for a long time. All of the paint also was well done, though there was a place on the inside where some of the paint had been brushed over the edge of the inside, but it was a purely cosmetic mistake and doesn't appear to make any difference in how well it works. I tried to scratch the paint with a sharp stick while burning some logs in the pit for a while, but the paint didn't budge, so I believe it will hold up as long as you don't purposefully scratch at the outside of it with a sharp metal object. This fire pit is pretty lightweight considering its all-steel construction, but not super lightweight - it's still not something I'd recommend taking hiking, especially with its size. It doesn't take up much space at all, considering what it is, but again, it's still not small enough for a hiking backpack. I tried to show its size in my pictures to get across the size of it, so you can understand what you're looking at with more context. It would take a ton of 'mini firewood' to fill it up fully, but it's too small for multiple regular-sized fire logs. It's a great size for one regular fire log and some smaller logs, however, which is what I burned in the video. It's only really 'smoke-free' if you use smoke-free wood in it, though. You can't put alcohol in it to burn (and the instructions warn you not to use any fuel or charcoal lighting fluid), because of the air holes that make it burn wood so well. It is very low-smoke, though, because the wood has oxygen available from both the top and the bottom. But there will still be some smoke, even if just a little bit.Obviously, do NOT use this indoors, or any open flame. The instructions also recommend against burning under any kind of covered roof, which is good advice, fire gets hot much higher than you expect. So I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for an indoor heater or for something to use under a roof period. It would be good for a small bit of heat in a small group, but you'd need to replace the log every couple of hours, so it's less of a functional heater than you'd want if that's what you're burning wood for. This is a great small fire pit and I'm going to continue using it when I cook meats, vegetables, marshmallows and the like over an open flame, it's very convenient to use. I'll update this review if any issues pop up with it down the line.I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not mince words. I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

Compact tabletop fire pit
The FANHAO 7 Inch Tabletop Fire Pit with Stand arrived in a retail box inside the outer carton. Inside the box was the fire pit, ash pan, ring to sit on top (which I found directs the flame we’ll), a storage bag and an instruction leaflet. The fire pit has three spring loaded legs at the bottom for it to sit on to help to avoid heat damaging the table top, although they still conduct heat so I would advise against placing it on any surface that could be damaged by heat. Although small, the pit is excellent and really useful for when I just want something small to sit on the table table while having a drink in the garden and don’t want to light the large fire pit that I own. It is also easy to clean, with the ash pan easily removed. The steel has discouraged slightly with use, but that wasn’t unexpected. Overall there is nothing to fault.

Cosy evenings
As the last of the warmer days fade, we sought a simple and portable solution to extend our evenings outdoors, which led us to the mini tabletop fire pit. This petite fire feature has proven to be a delightful addition to our small outdoor gatherings. The fire pit is notably compact, about the diameter of a tea plate, making it perfect for intimate settings. It's supported by small feet, ensuring that it doesn’t sit directly on any surfaces, which helps to mitigate heat damage and maintain safety. Despite its small size, the pit holds a modest amount of burning material—sufficient to generate a comfortable amount of heat. One of the pit's strengths is its design, which facilitates excellent airflow. This feature not only helps the material inside burn more efficiently but also makes it easier to ignite. The fire pit has been effective for providing a focal point of warmth and ambiance, making it ideal for cozy gatherings or even for use when camping.Adding to its appeal, the fire pit comes with its own carry bag. This thoughtful inclusion enhances its portability, allowing us to easily take it along on trips or store it away neatly when not in use. We've been thoroughly impressed with how user-friendly this fire pit is. It's straightforward to set up, ignite, and clean, which makes it all the more enjoyable to use. Overall, this mini tabletop fire pit is a fantastic find for anyone looking to create a warm and inviting outdoor atmosphere in a compact and portable format. It’s a small but mighty addition that has significantly enhanced our autumn evenings.

Super little firepit, burns wood fast
The media could not be loaded. A great little firepit that packs away nicely in the bag provided, I absolutely love this thing. From its little legs that fold out to how easy it is to clean out.The legs on the bottom support it more than enough even though there’s only 3 of them, just helps keep it from being directly on my table and I think it helps with airflow from the bottom too.The removable grill at the bottom is a great idea too, stops all the ash and chunks of wood being sat straight on the bottom and making it super hot. It’s a shame there isn’t a tool provided to reach the hook and pull it out, I have to use my hand instead and I get of ash.The airflow works great, doesn’t seem anywhere near as much smoke when it’s burning as a normal firepit would do, but because of this the wood burns very fast. Can be good if needed to burn through some wood or paper/cards but if using while camping it will go through it quickly. The removable lip around the top is good also, helps keep my wood upright and again stops it being straight on the side and getting it too hot.

Small but mighty
This is definitely a quality purchase and certainly value for money for what you get. I’ve had a few fire pits in my time. I’ve even made a few which you can actually see one of the background of my photo from a tumble dryer drum and this is great for having large groups of people that ran a fire but when it’s just you and your wife sat outside with a glass of wine and wanting to maybe toast a marshmallow, this is fantastic.Last night it was quite cool and he dropped her around 8°C so when we thought about sitting outside, this was a must.By using a lighter block and just eight bits of kindling, I was able to generate enough heat for about 45 minutes of sitting outside. Absolutely incredible!I was also impressed with the fact that afterwards when cleaning out the bottom which has the holes in can be lifted up with a ring pull an empty is quite straightforward into an ash bin. After using the silver has obviously discoloured a little bit, but this is something that would easily polish out with some IPA or ice alcohol. The black paint finish was unchanged. The item itself is really compact and what I didn’t notice until after I’ve used it and used a barbecue grill to elevate it was that the product actually has a little spring loaded legs underneath it so you can lift it off the surface and prevent damage. This is brilliant because the device itself focuses all of its heat upwards and outwards to the side and down so if you would have maybe a cork Matt on a table you could easily sit this on it and the way you go.Cleaning afterwards was easy enough again pouring pull out empty the ash maybe give it a wipe around inside but make sure it’s very dry so it’s not to affect the metal.Because the fuel use if you’re using absolutely dry kindling, there’s been any smoke once it get started, but it does need to generate enough heat and then that creates a vortex that reduces the smoke level.Functionalise super straightforward and really easy to use dismantle clean and then put away.I would say it’s definitely advisable for those maybe going on small camping trips because it cooled down after about an hour I’ve not been used so if you were going camping and you used it, let it burn out and then wants to put it under Cover you could do so quite safely.Absolutely remember not to put anything with smouldering embers in indoors or in attend as the carbon monoxide can be fatal.

The design is really clever, allowing for strong flames while using wood or pellets. It’s lightweight and portable, making it convenient to take along for camping trips. Plus, the durability of the stainless steel ensures this will last for many gatherings.
