Great mosquito free hammock option for southeast USA
Living in eastern North Carolina, I get to enjoy camping and hiking almost year-round - the late fall and winter is my favorite time to explore the local outdoors since the summer here are very humid and buggy! One of my favorite local trails is the Neusiok - a 20 plus mile trail located in the Croatan National Forest. Unfortunately it is also very swampy and from late spring through early fall the mosquitoes are numerous and hiking or camping is not recommended. There are other local campgrounds and trails to visit during the warmer months that are not as bad but can be a challenge without adequate bug protection.I always enjoy using my standard hammock during fall and winter camping, but was excited to find the Fotgear portable camping hammock that includes a removable mosquito net. The accessories also includes 2 very well made tree straps, two heavy duty carabiners and two pair of cord ropes (use to hold up the mosquito netting).I was eager to set this hammock up during one of my local hikes in the Neusiok trail. One of my favorite resting spots has perfectly spaced trees to hang up hammocks, but also a man-made hammock stand built by the Boy Scouts near one of the shelters. I’ve included photos with this hammock, set up with both the man-made stand and the trees. Not only is the hammock lightweight, it is well made, the mosquito netting material should keep out not only mosquitoes, but the smaller annoying gnats and no-see-ums! The stitching throughout the hammock was excellent. I had no trouble using the two way zippers to get in and out of the hammock. There are two pockets sewed into the hammock (on the outside and inside) with plenty of room to hold a large cell phone, car keys, etc. The outside pocket also serves as the storage sack with enough space to insert the hammock netting and the accessories for storage. My only complaint is the paracord used to hold up the mosquito netting . I understand this was supposed to be lightweight hammock, but this cord was not the same quality as the other accessories so I plan to replace it with a more durable reflective paracord.Overall I am very pleased and plan to add this hammock to my future day hikes and camping trips!

Amazing value for First Hammock
The media could not be loaded. My friend keeps suggesting I try hammock camping. I seen this one for less then 15$ and thought I'd try it. It's actually nicer then I thought it would be. I only ran one line for the netting so I could set it up in the back yard. The straps are great, I did buy a pair of longer ones for a 7$ up grade. I'm right at 6' and I can lay down fine. My daughter really liked playing in it to. For less then 15$ it's more then I expected.

It’s ok
I didn’t end up keeping this. I felt like it was very cheaply made.

Net is not detectable
I like this hammock and love the idea of the mosquito netting over you as you sleep so the bugs can’t get to you. What I don’t like, however, is the way the netting is so close to my face when I lay down in the hammock. Also, it would be great if there was a way to gather it on the cords just a little higher up so it’s not so claustrophobic.

Very cool but give yourself time to set up and it's really just for 1
Pros: Everything you need is included to hang from trees, including the tree straps. Lightweight breathable material that still feels trustworthy to hang in. Mesh net cover keeps most size bugs away, but bug spray is still going to be needed for noseeums and real tiny stuff.Cons: More complicated to figure out the ropes than a regular hammock and the instructions are mid, so you may have a faster time just looking at the stuff and thinking where it needs to go logically, plus every tree set up is going to be different, so give yourself time, expect some frustration and don't try to do it in the dark... It's also not comfortable for two people despite whatever the weight rating is because you're just going to be mashed together by gravity as there is not some miraculous spacious surface to lay on, it's just a hammock
