Bought this for my nephew who loves to pretend to fix things. This has ample points to take apart and put back together. The driving sounds are clearly audible could be a bit loud for some but very realistic and impressive.. The only sound that probably annoys me the most is the storage compartment. The alarm sound when its open is quite jarring and grates on the nerves quickly. If you or your toddler is affected by loud sounds, this is not the toy. However, for our lil rough and tumble mechanic, this was a perfect gift.

It's actually pretty nifty. I think I like it more then my son does lol. Headlights actually work and so does the horn

Our 4 year old grandson received it for Christmas and it’s the only toy he plays with. He likes the lights and sounds also checking the oil and tires like his daddy does on his truck. He pushes it all over the house. Great toy, safe, and good value.

Fun, easy to work on, great gift

I had tried a similar toy last year but my son didn't care for it at all. I decided to give it another whirl now that he's 3, and it's a huge hit! He doesn't really grasp the concept of everything as far as taking it off and putting it back on, but he loves playing around with all the pieces and naming the different components with his Daddy. His favorite part is the tools because he gets to feel like he's a big boy working on his own engine like Daddy does. He's always been a little codependent during playtime but this toy really did empower him a bit - he got frustrated with me when I tried to play with him because I guess I wasn't doing it right. He sighed and said 'No mommy, that piece goes HERE!'. He was wrong, but it was still very cute to see him take control and not default to whatever I said like he normally does.Overall, I definitely recommend this toy for any young boy even if he hasn't decided on his 'thing' yet. My son still hasn't - he loves allllll things 'boy', dinosaurs, cars, tools, etc. But this definitely helped him find out that he loves to work on cars the most (for now). Very good time consuming and thought provoking toy.

It’s much larger than expected but still a decent size to sit closed up and put away. Its sound quality is loud and clear (but not too loud). It was built well and all the screws unscrew with ease. It’s such a fun toy for my soon to be 2 yo!

Came with only one black tire!

This would make a very cool and unique gift. It works very well and is easy for young ones to learn how to put the engine together and take it apart. It provides hours of fun for my son.
