Purhcase a gift for a soon to be 5 year old. I think this a excellent edition to any birthday especially to keep the little one busy. Does requires batteries.

I bought this a few months ago now and when my son opened it on Christmas he was so excited, he loves spiderman and transformers. But when you push or hold the transform button, nothing happens. 😢 Very disappointedUpdate: The seller offered a refund which was very kind of them, so I will give them another try.

Transformer Car was an Absolute Hit!!
The media could not be loaded. This remote control transformer car is a total blast. It runs on 5 AA batteries (not included). The remote control take 2 and the car takes 3. The remote control has two levers for control - the left lever makes the car go forward and backward, while the right lever makes it spin around like a top. And I mean literally spin - it rotates around its rear axis, which is pretty cool. There are also two feature buttons - the top one makes the car transform, while the bottom one puts on a demo show with all sorts of fancy moves. It was the perfect gift for my daughter who loves the transformer movies. My daughter is totally obsessed. 10 out of 10 Recommend!!

Defective item.
Product defective. The remote and car would not communicate. Believe it to be problem with inner parts of car. It was not convenient to try to return as we are located in a rural area. If UPS picks up additional fee. My 5 year old grandson is playing with it manually. It was his birthday present. I'm disappointed it didn't function properly.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this car for my 5 year olds birthday, and I wasn’t disappointed! It had a great quality considering its affordability, and my kid absolutely loved it! The control was simple to use, and could move 360 degrees using only 2 controls, which is great for younger kids! The design is also quite versatile as it held up to the rough play of a toddler. I definitely recommend this for anyone who has a young child, it’s a great product.
