My husband recently hosted a company event where they took a group photo on his cell phone. He wanted it to be printed for his office wall. But cell phone image size vs. print size is different these days, and if I cropped the image to a standard 8x10, it would have cropped some of the people out of the picture...so my only solution was to print it on 8x10 paper with the image smaller than the paper. See my photos for more details.I used the mat board that came with the frame (even though it was cut for 4x6 photos). I just centered the photo over the mat and taped it in the back to secure. So the photo rests on top of the mat rather than behind it as is typical. I hope all of this makes sense. All to say, I think it worked really well for a trimmed digital print.I have heard that there are some places online that will print 8x12 size photos, but I didn't want to pay the shipping fee...I just went to my local drugstore for a cheap print - I hope one day they offer the larger digital size. In the meantime, this came out very nicely!!The frame is very nice quality and I am happy with how it turned out. This frame is very sturdy, and the wood is solid. I love the collage insert. But if you don't like it, it can be removed & the frame can be used for 1 picture. The only issue I found was that the picture frame hangers on the back fold out & when they are folded out, they hit the edge of the frame so the nail/hook I hung the frame on scrapes against the back of the frames edge and makes the frame hanging a bit tricky.

I have a couple 8x10 pictures I wanted to frame together. It's a bit difficult to find a collage frame for that size. The whole frame is bigger to accommodate two 8x10's. I checked some of the house goods and art stores near me and when I did find one, it was much more expensive than this. This was shipped well protected in double boxes with foam guards. The frame is real wood, as is the backing. The hardware is excellent. The clips to keep the backing in place are plentiful and actually do their job. The matte is thick and good quality. I would have loved if the matte was white on one side and maybe black on the other, giving me different display options, but that's a preference issue and not reflected in my stars, which are 5 all the way! This is really an excellent quality frame at a comparatively great price, making this a great value!

This is a solid wood frame that is well made. Corners match without any gaps in between, and the glass used is tempered making it safer than other frames out there. I will be making a collage with several of the same style frames in black and white photos.

This picture frame is great for the 3”x5” school photos that I get of my nieces every year. The matte can be taken out and can be used for a 9”x12” photo or if you have your own matte an 8”x10” photo. The backing is very secured with multiple brackets to help keep it closed. The only bummer is that I didn’t realize there was no way to set this on a shelf. It just be hung on a wall. The glass is clear with no imperfections. The overall look with the black color is sleek and simple.

Matting is clean edged and the backing fits perfectly.

I ordered three different collage frames at the same time. This one was by far the best quality! It was the easiest to assemble. It was also the heaviest material. I liked the option of the framing mats because some of my pictures wouldn’t have fit without them. Easy to hang. Looks amazing!
