Solid, Simple & Reliable focus puller
Purchased this because the Tilta Nano kept having issues. Works flawlessly, love the simple and reliable operation, not having a screen is a plus as there is less to worry about and leads to simple operation. Battery seems to last long too, can use 12hrs without needing to recharge—haven’t used it for longer though without recharging yet so can’t comment past 12hrs. Does the job for being able to focus wirelessly from the camera.

Great as a zoom motor and controller with electronic a/b stop functionality
The SmallRig Lite Focus Wheel and Motor stand out with their intuitive design, particularly the electronic A/B stops, which allow for precise control when pulling focus. These stops make it easy to set focus limits, ideal for zoom lenses and non-cinema lenses that lack built-in hard stops. Configuration is a breeze, which is especially useful for quick setups in fast-paced shoots. The focus motor is compact yet effective, and its versatility shines when mounted on 15mm rods or directly onto a gimbal setup. Though it doesn’t integrate directly with DJI gimbals, it works independently, making it a great addition for anyone using lenses that require focus or zoom control. This setup offers smooth operation with minimal hassle, making it perfect for filmmakers looking for reliable and user-friendly focus control on the go.

Works but not on my camera rig
The product definitely works, but it is not working on my camera rig system. I have used my 15mm rods to mount the motor and for some reason I keep getting bumping on my lens causing the image to move as I am racking focus. I tried moving the motor to every possible spot to see if the positioning would make a difference but I still kept getting the same issue. I also tried with the rod system that comes with the product but I still get the same issue no matter where I place the motor. I believe that the motor not having an ability to change the torque is what's causing the problem since it is too strong for the gears on my lenses. I've worked with the Nucleus wireless system and never had a problem with the motor causing the lens to move whenever pulling focus.I am pretty disappointed with this product as every other SmallRig item I have is great and now I can no longer return the product leaving me with a product I won't use.

Great Buy
For the price it's pretty great, I bought this to use with a Macro lens and some vintage lenses, while the auto calibration does not seem to work for these lenses. Setting the start and end points on manual mode is very easy and then you are good to go!At fast racking speeds it can be very loud and cause vibrations I have found that if you tighten it against the lens just right this issue is minimized, I won't be doing fast racks anyway, not making bollywood action movies. For the price , it's size and build quality make it a very good purchase.

Torque with precision.
I'm a huge fan of SmallRig. I don't know how they offer the quality they do at their very fair prices. Excellent build quality, easy set-up. A ton of torque, I'm using it for focus but you could easily use it for moving a heavy zoom mechanism. The response is very smooth and sensitive. Perfection.

Major Time Suck On Set
It grinds my high end lenses after taking 5-10 mins to calibrate, which is a long time when on set. I picked it up because it was lower cost then the others on the market at the time. It's super hard to calibrate and even after calibration it is still not right. Lots of grinding on the lens gears, which shakes the camera. and grinds the gears of the lenses. I've spent more time being mad at this part of my gear then anything else. I've also spent more time trying to get it calibrated and working. This product is a major time suck on set.
